protege rear spoiler upgrade question

i really like the look of the subaru wrxsti spoiler over the mazdaspeed mp3 protege spoiler. i have an 02 protege that i want to know if anyone knows the width tolerances of the two spoilers, and with some fudging can i get a subaru spoiler on my protege?

well the 2003.5 msp spoiler is kinda sorta like teh sti one. not as defined or as tall but none the less check it out

you should go spoiler-less, it's much hotter.

Or the Evo spoiler looks good too.

if you do a high profile spoiler though you need to look into the msp rear and side skirts..our cars look incomplete with a wing and no body trim.

OEM spoiler is what i would/am going for.

The bigger the spoiler, the bigger the body kit.

my two cents... Go with the Spoiler, to complete the look... but i dont see a STI spoiler looking good on this car.

here is a quick photoshop mock of an STI spoiler on a 2000 protege, of course i had to scale the wing to fit, so who knows if the real one would actually fit width wise on our trunks. I personally dont like the look just from the mock, but its about your own taste i guess.

it would look nice, but like u said the about the scaling, your scaling actually looks a bit too small. so who knows. The Evo wing is great tho.

yeah it was hard to make it fit correctly, the angle made it pretty difficult, but i will second that the evo wing is awesome, but only with the rear lip and side skirts

IukekiniProtege, are you on cardomain cuz i seen a protege with the same rimsand color on there. in ur sig, is that ur interior?? if it is what kind of gauges do u have cuz mine kinda look like that but theyre green.

yeah most likely its mine, it would be under the cardomain user Yokosentra, The gauges in my sig are mine, but they dont look that good in person, I just replaced the lights with Red LEDS and for the picture it was overexposed, so they are brighter in the picture than in person.

they look grreeat in the sig. and about the spoiler, i think you should think about putting on the mp3 spoiler, it almost looks like the evo wing(if u squint ur eyes and tilt ur head sideways) and i think its better than the msp wing.

oh, well if they dont want it than do it and take pics. that would look good, have u ever seen that protege that was in modified? the wing it had kinda looked like the evo wing. either way that was a clean ass protege
