Overboost has a pic of 2003.5 Yellow MSP from SEMA

If you go Overboost.com and go to thier coverage of SEMA, day 1, gallery section, on page 10 it shows a pic of the 2003.5 MSP in electric yellow. It is not really that close but you can tell what it loks like better than the other crappy pic floating around. After seeing it I definitely like the 2003 better. It still shows no fog lights. Check it out and see what I am talking about.

You can see the car better in that pic...finally realized what they attempted to do. Looks like they tried to combine the mp3 fascia with the ES fascia and a slighty empaized lip. The grill and general shape are all ES though, the fog light holes are mp3...anyone else see this

Did anybody notice how many orange cars there were at this SEMA show? Tons. And how many production cars are being produced with orange paint? - 1 (well at least that is what I hear)

I think with the refresh, the mazdaspeed protege will no longer be limited edition but will become part of mazdas lineup. kind of like how there is a type-S, or XRS, that kind of thing. I think that would explain the loss of the foglights and the general toning down of the cars front.

I think that is a good assumption. It looks like they are going to mass produce. I wonder if it will have the same suspention as 2003 or if they will change to OE to cut cost. Mass production could very well tone down the sound system mods and the rest of the car. I guess we will have to wait until mid june or so. If the 2003 is even out by then.

If they mass produce a watered down msp as the 2003.5 edition, which sounds like a very possible senario, then that's all the better for the few of us with the REAL msp's. They will retain their rarity, and will represent the car all the 2003.5 owners wish they had.

Mili ... I totally agree ... the msp looks way more aggressive ... makes the new one look wimpy. If you're buying a car like this ... an orange one no less ... isn't an aggressive look what its all about??
