No boost!!!!!!!!!!

well here it is. i drove the car kinda hard last night for about a two mile stretch on the e-way and stopped at the light at the exit. when it turned green i accelerated and noticed there was no boost at all. the vacuum is sitting at 21-22 and car is running fine aside from no boost. the car is stock besides a short intake and a catless turbo back exhaust which has been my set-up for about 4 years. no smoke or check engine lights just when its time to boost it stops at 0. new WGA about two months ago and vacuum lines about 1 year or so ago. thanks for any help in advance.

does not sound like it is. i hear no spool-up at all. no oil on the ground.

see if you blew your couplers off.

i looked last night and they seemed to be connected. would'nt the car run like ass if that happened? how would it be running if at all if the turbo is siezed or blown?

check the bolt on the turbo as well to make sure you didn't loose any...all of them mani to engine....mani to turbo, turbo to Spipe. Although the turbo to s pipe wouldn't cause no boost. It sounds like a coupler issue. That's exactly what mine does when I pop a coupler

yea but he said it runs fine aside from no boost. I've blown couplers off before, the car wont go. You can limp it but thats about it.

What if the hot side doesn't spin the cold side, is that even possible?

thanks for the help guys but it ended up it was the arm of the WGA came off the actuator. i lost the clip to secure the arm when i replaced the WGA and obviously did not have the right size clip (bang) to secure the new one. oh-well, lesson learned, thanks again.

Is there anywhere you can buy a new clip? Mine just did the same thing.

i would assume a hardware store like a lowes or home depot would have them possibly autozone or something like that. i replaced it at my buddies from his supply of parts so did not have to go search for one.
