so my car was backed into, again! haha
second time in the same driveway, but different driver this time.
by the looks of it at night, i need a new drivers side rear door, new quarter panel welded in and then ill need to have the front door cleaned up a little bit. not mad at all, things happen.
guy who did it (girlfriends brother) is all upset about it and its happened a few times to other cars in their driveway. he says to his mom "so what are we going to do so this doesn't happen again?"
um, look before you back the car up perhaps??? haha

so what ill end up doing is I'm probably going to find a door this week and we can make the meet a "replace kyle's door meet!"
going to do the repair more or less on my own with their money so their insurance rates don't go up. got a friend of a friend who does amazing body work so he will fix all the non door parts. the tricky part for him i think will be fixing the quarter panel

that's nasty! that panel may need to be replaced...the metal is really messed up...

mornin bruce...back to work here too! i just realized driving into work at 5:45am, that i really can't enjoyed the ride, i was trying to listen to a radio program and was constantly reminded that if i got to in grossed in the program i'd probably get killed! car's were flying up behind me, jamming their brakes on, going around me, cutting me off...and then just the awful roads too boot! mind you now, i'm going 10 over the posted speed limit, it's dark and the roads go from 4 to 3 lanes, the stupid break down lane is open during commuter hours...it is just crazy...and that's at 5:45 in the morning....whats the rush people...? we're going to work! my rant for the day!

That sux Kyle!!!! Hope it can be fixed on the cheap side but not so sure. I was pricing that same panel last month when trying to figure out the best, cost efficient way to hit mine that was hit and rusted out. Jason at OMP said he could get me the panel to my door for $540 but that doesn't include labor to cut out the old one and weld it in + paint.
Wow, sounds like my commute in at 7am! It has been so crazy here that I've been taking back roads lately. It takes me a little longer but I find it more relaxing and I don't get to work agitated by some idiot(s) on the road.

Ouch.
Sad sight to see. That rear quarter is going to be a tough fix for sure. A shop will most likely pull most of it out and bondo for fill.Hallway traffic? You've got no idea. I've got 4 furry speedbumps to negotiate...sometimes on the treacherous stairs. Then I have to deal with the K-9 roadblock at the kitchen door. Sometimes I take the back route through the dining room but that just draws attention.

well i think we are going to have to call the insurance for it. I cant find any laser blue doors locally and im not going to put in tons of effort into finding one since im not at fault here. thought about getting any old door and painting it but i forgot about the inner part needing to be blue too
