NEMOC Random BS Thread

morning all, bruce, put the cah away yet? i should be getting the p5 back tomorrow...i'll probably take the msm off the road next week... :(
phen, wheels look great! kyle, good luck with the cah, doesn't sound promising...

morningggggg

so another update about the p5, it might be back in play! so as mentioned we found out we couldnt tap the panel back from the inside because of the double wall but we could maybe go through the strut tower. I told my boss about that this morning and he mentioned that he has a stud welder so we can use that for pulling out this panel to make it all nice and pretty again.

Wassup?

Sounds good about the car Kyle and hope you can get it fixed for cheap. I still need to make the call to get mine in the shop. Hey, PM me your cell again should you either want to ride shotgun to Mahk's or meet up and take your car.

Wheels look great Phen!

So... the project that I've been working on that has pretty much ruled my life for the last 6 months??? Yeah.. just got s*** canned. ****.

I've had that happen numerous times. My current project involves doing the same thing 3 different ways to find out which is best. I pretty much knew the answer beforehand so for a 6 week project, only 1 week worth of work will actually be used in the end...but i get paid for all 6 so why complain right?

Not yet but she is just sitting there. Working on her to day to get her ready for next weekend to put her away. Cleanup, attach the charger connections, etc.

It's definitely fall here in GA now....

Morning all. Looks like some of you got snow. My daughter has been without power for more than a day due to a falling tree. Was sunny here but cold on the weekend. Took Mia out for a spin Sunday, the dunlops had trouble hooking up. Was kind of fun.

Cleaned her and installed a battery charger connection for next weekend. She will be going into storage.

morning all...got whacked with an early snow storm here...commonly known as a "nor'easter" anyway, lots of folks without power, school closings and worst of all..........NO Trick or Treating!!!!!!!!!! officials are afraid that with all the trees, limbs and wires down it would be unsafe...
in other news, still waiting on the p5's return from major timing belt surgery...i told the shop to take their time and get it done in between other "better" paying jobs...should be back this wk though. drove on the summers today and it was below freezing when i left...didn;t have an issues but i think i'm taking a chance here!

Be careful out there Mahk! G'morning everyone...Monday...blech. Kids didn't have school thanks to power outages in the area....why couldn't my office be without power?

And of course you had all summer to get the belt done!!

Morning all. Another Sunny day here. Supposed to be nice all week.

Missed the kids trickntreating. Was giving blood last night.

Hi guys. Still no power in Londonderry, NH. Went out early Sunday morning. PSNH expects power to restored to 95% of residents by Thursday evening, 99% by Friday evening. I'm hoping we get it back before then. In the meantime, Amanda and I have been staying with her parents down the street since they have a generator.

I've been researching propane fireplaces and permanent generator solutions for the new house. We've got to do something if these extended power outages are going to be the norm. This is the 4th time in 3 years her parents have lost power for more than 24hrs. I think the electric companies have been cutting back on their regular maintenance in the down economy. Amanda's parents said its been over a year since the last time they came by to trim back the trees. The used to come every year. No surprise that their street is littered with branches hanging on the lines. Stuff that should have been cut back ages ago. Our neighborhood has underground lines but we're attached to a grid that has mostly above ground lines so it doesn't help much.

wow chris! we never lost it here...i saw a story on the tree triming on the news...of course it costs more to do it (utilities trying to save a buck), some towns don't want their pretty trees trimmed back...but of course everybody is pissed after they all fall on the power lines and i bet it cost way more to fix the downed cables then to have trimmed the trees each yr doing nice weather! of course having leaves on the branches didn't help!
