Bought all the supplies at my local Meijer. If you don't have a Meijer near you, you can move to Michigan. Easy peasy.
So we have, one heavy duty rubber step guard that I got from the truck accessories department, some heavy duty velcro strips, a little template of the step area, and (not shown) some duct tape.
I traced the template onto the backing of the self-adhesive rubber step guard. Be sure to flip your template over too before tracing it. I cut it with some heavy duty fiskars.
I removed the self-adhesive backing from the back of the rubber step, and then attached duct tape to it for heavy-dutyness.
Attach velcro strips to the bottom:
And lastly, stick it to the carpeting.
