Mazdaspeed Project!!

and AAM the onyl reason im not releasing it is cause the first person to do a projkect like this no one could tune and he blew his motor, so i dont want people to know exactly how im running it until i see it running right, its not cause i dont want you to know, so dont talk s*** jsut cause u dont got the balls to do it yourself, the cars a piece of s*** stock outta the dealership but has so much potential

corksport front mount, which includes inlet pipe and top mount ram air intake, and turbo xs downpipe race pip, with stock cat back .. all resonators/muffler cut out, and i already have the c-pe engine management, all 3 AEM gauges that i need. most of the little s*** is taken care of already

Very nice, I don't know about Turbo XS, 3" into stock catback? Stock's piping is how large? Back pressure FTL, get a CBE soon or just get a custom one with larger piping.

Alright, I'm gonna step in here and say a few things:

First, welcome. You chose a great car to pick up (or daddy bought for ya). Being 18 and driving a car like this is a great privilege. Not many can do that.

Reading your posts I'm gonna guess that you're a trust fund baby and going to Kettering on your parents dime. Good for you. Don't flunk out.

Now, let's get to the car. The MS3 is a great car, right out of the box. That's why it continues to win comparo tests and shootouts against other cars available in its segment. To call it a piece of s*** right out of the box is sheer ignorance. Sure, to someone, every car is a piece of s***. It's no Lambo, and even then, they have their limits of engineering.

Next, let's address your absolutely ridiculous claim that you'll be smoking Z06's. Someone should slap you right now. Comparing a 263hp, 3300 lb FWD car to a 505hp, 3200 lb RWD car is audacious. No matter what you do, you won't be beating a ZO6, short of installing the AWD drivetrain from a MS6 and stripping the car down, finding a standalone ECU and tuning the biggest turbo imaginable, pushing 30 psi+ on a built motor. Hate to say it, but it won't happen.

Also, you've got all these 'shops' lined up to do your work. Awesome. Let's get some names, websites, etc. and see what they've got. Living in MI, I know a lot about what's going on in the Mazda scene, and I'm anxious to hear where you're getting your work done. All these 'parts' you've got, we've yet to see a pic of anything. No brands, just part names. It sounds like you went on a website, wrote every mod down, and put them in your first post. Nice work.

College is paid for. Congrats. Hate to say it, but noone on this forum (or anywhere for that matter) gives a flying ****. I suggest if you plan on sticking around this forum that you wise up. 18 and stupid is no way to go through life.

HAHAHAHAHA i guess my lack of "balls" is why my 35r is just laying around the house. Gosh I wish I had some "balls' tp put it on. Oh what to do, please help me, I need your wise in put to guide me.

i spent more money on my last transmission which i earned myself (what a crazy idea) then your entire build will probably consist of. Now go run to daddy and...

Ouch! Burned (bowdown)

1. actually no, im paying monthly for the car, and got a full ride to kettering for engineering some from the college and some from financial aid becuase my dad passed away.

2. the car has so many issues with recalls and warranty problems.

3. speed industry in troy michigan. speedindustry.biz. they jsut did a speed6 that has 410 whp.

4. around 400 whp in a front wheel drive car with a thruway pull will beat a 450 whp zo6. ill upload a video of my buddys 400 hp tc pulling on a zo6.

5. FWD is better than AWD on the thruway, im going for a thruway race, not a stoplight racer.

6. corksport front mount, turbo xs downpipe racepipe, cpe engine management, mazda block with pauter rods, wiseco pistons, ARP main studs, ARP head studs, DNP Manifold, garret 3071 turbo, c-pe HPFpump, spec3 clutch... i kno what i have/ waht im getting/ and no, i paid for all my s*** myself, including the car.

so when u decide to say daddy bought me the car? try to think s*** through first.

Bragging about what you've got and how things are paid off make you look like an ass on here. You'll learn that in time.

As far as the car goes, I'm not sure what you consider to be 'a lot'. Turbo seals, stereo issues, and a few other little things aren't all that bad. It could be worse, it could be a Chrysler product. The warranty issues are basically the risk you take when you mod it. I've been through it myself. You gotta pay to play.

I've been following that SI build of the MS6. I'm still interested to see your parts that are laying around your house. Sounds like you're going to have some traction and boost/fuel cut issues when you get all those parts on. Best of luck with the build.

You probably won't be able to upload the vid, you'd have to send it via pm.

All in all, its just not worth it. If this car is your DD .....

If the vid is on youtube, he can embed it into a post and it should show up fine.

aright guys, how about this, you worry about your car, ill worry about mine, and when/if its done, ill come back and show you pics and vids, until then, dont believe me, call me a tool, whatever you'd like, say im bragging because i backed myself up from all the s*** your talking, whatever its all good. i posted originally because not many people have made projects out of a speed 3 and i was going to let people know how it went when it was up and running as it should have, not to start some stupid bickering about where/what/how much bulls***, worry about your own damn cars.

So you sit here and run your mouth, then when you get called out, you try to play games and distract people? You opened the can of worms, not everyone else.

i didnt run my mouth at all, people ask about engine builds all the time so i was letting those people know that im gonna start one in a couple months and if they really wanted to know the details they could pm me. i didnt wanna go public because if it does turn out bad then 1. the shop doesnt look like s***, 2. people dont do it to there cars and ahve the same results.

i didnt get called out either, everything i say i have i do, i dont care if u guys believe it or not lol cause it doesnt matter, i didnt open the thread to start a whos got what and an argument, as soon as i got the car running i was gonna post pics and videos of dyno pulls, i wasnt doing it to brag.

i do not like the thought of an 18yr old driving a 400+whp fwd car on the street.

if you want my honest to go opinion get an intake, downpipe, some sort of tuning device and get the car properly tuned. get springs you most likely dont need coilovers. this would be pleny of bling and to show off for your friends and romp up on most of the cars in your area.

-and the only time in my life in which someone has ever said im not releasing the details of my car build and been one of my best friends who owns a very nice shop and we were building a twin turbo buyeye wrx. so i really dont know what you could be doing that would seem so extreme....

I take it you know Kienan. If he ever get the tranny to hold the thing will be a absolute monster.
