LED Reverse Lights

once again sorry for the delay here are a few of the LEDs in my backup lights, it doesn't show but they are very bright.

They look bright, but don't appear to be putting out much light like a true backup light does...I turn mine on and they light up the driveway...

I have led bulbs in my reverse and they are not as bright as yours. I was thinking about putting the spyder lights in the brake light because I have clear lenses. The ones I got were like $10 on eBay and they were from china i think they have 12 or 16 LEDs. I don't like the small bulb for brake that's why I was thinking the spyder lights. Any one have experience with using these?

I'm tempted as well.. I'd do the LED brake lights for safety (they come on faster) before anything.

Here are mine.
All LEDs from V-Leds as well. 94 Led color changing as front turn signals and all other bulbs even the side markers are now leds.

focus your setup is similar to mine, I have a full retrofit for the car (int/ext)

looks good,

BTW there is plenty of light being shot from the LED on the ground to see while reversing it doesn't show on the pics

Yeah there is a lot. Just look at this pic of the flasher, which is 194 tiny bulb. Look on the ground next to it...

FWIW, pics of the bulbs themselves are worthless in assessing headlight and reverse lights. What's important is how they light up the surroundings. (it's different when you're talking about sidemarkers, brake lights, etc... because there you're concerned mostly with how visible the lights themselves are)

The reason LEDs generally don't do much for reverse lights is that they are very intense, but the total light output usually isn't very impressive, and it's often not cast in a usable way. Not saying the above posters' reverse lights are no good, but the pics posted only show how the lights look, not really how they function.

Yeah I was thinking about retrofitting my lights with LEDs, at least in the front. This convinced me to do so for sure. What LEDs did you guys use for the tail lights? Right now I'm going to get the dual-color front turn signal lights, amber side markers. Might as well do the tails too now...
