boostedmazda - There is a green wire with a black stripe under the steering column on a plug just to the left. Tap into that for your dimmer light, it comes on when your headlights are turned on. (use a test light to make sure and turn the key to accesory). As for the hole in the firewall, if you look underneath the dash on the driver's side up to the far left you'll see where the factory wiring is coming thru the firewall. On the engine side the factory used some black silicone to plug up the wires through the groment, just peel some of that off or poke a hole through it and you should be able to get a wire or hose through there. Hope this helps and good luck.:D

Check the "How-To" section. That will show you to splice into the pink and blue wire at the ECU or at the O2 sensor.

ok, i got my gauges intalled, pretty easy, i was surprised, but my boost gauge peaks at like 6.5 then drops to about 5.9 real quick, is this normal? there is also slit hissing comming from the gauge, is that normal and if its not, what might be causing it?

that's not to bad of a spike at all. Others have it worse. Use extra teflon tape on fitting threads and it should seal it better and it should go away, I had same results before I added more.
