I was quoted $10,500 from Mazda........this was a few months ago when I was considering trading in for an MS3.
Now, Subaru was offering me $10k to trade in for a new 2008 STI, and the STI was for $29k.
Was tempted, but didn't want another sport compact. Thinking of going towards an automatic luxury car.
Definitely shop around. Market is not that great, and dealers are offering prime dollars for trade-ins, just to be able to sell new cars in their lots.
It's easier to sell a used cheap car, than a new cheap car.
Plus, with these cars, it'll be an easy turn-around for the dealers.
Just surprising it's hard to sell on your own.
Good luck!

I'm looking into trading my MSP in. 2003 Mica Black, ~45k miles, it's in very good condition with the exception of some small dings on the exterior. Car is stock except the CD player has been replaced with a Kenwood XXV-01D. What should I expect from the dealer?
