HID problem

hey guys..i'm having a problem with my HIDs i have mcculloch 5300k HIDS for my protege5.. and one of my bulbs are sorta yellow compared to the other one. and when i turn on my car the yellow one flashes on and off could it be because i dont' have a wireharness? i'm still on the ghetto rid style harness. plz respond

I have lots of problems with my HID kit too!!

I already bought a new ballast and it's less than a month new and I already have problems!!!

As for your problem, make sure the bulbs are aligned and are position correctly.

Don't forget to change out your fuse to 20A one...

I have problems with mine too. THey are both the same color, but i already burned out a ballast, and i did everything right, switched the fuse to 20A installed everything right, and mounted them securely. Now Mike, the vendor who sold them to us, is really hard to get a hold of, and wouldn't answer my emails for a while. Then he says he'll have more this week, but i still can't get a hold of him, and he won't answer my IM messages on AOL. Uhohitzmikey you need to get on top of this and help us with our problems!

Not trying to sound like a jerk here but the stock lights are some of the best of any car I've ever seen. Why would you want to spend the money?

pictures dont do the HID's justice. they are friggen great. i love them...not sure about other motorists on the road, but i dont care.

spend the extra cash and go for quality next time guys and get the CATZ HID kits. far superior to most everything i've seen out there.

I have phillips ballasts and I haven't had a problem yet with the ballasts. The bulbs on the other hand are a problem. One of mine burned out for a while and had that yellow color as well but after a time it started working again and I haven't had a problem since

do you guys think it may be the wireharness?? i just bought a H4 wireharness adaptor. maybe i'll help *crosses fingers* if its the ballast i'll go to junk yard and buy myself a audi ballast and ignitor. but if its the bulbs.. 8000k bulbs here i come.. oh yea.. i got the kit from the group buy.. if anyone was curious.
