yup insurnace definitely worth it. he quoted me $52 shipping + $10 ins. i dun mind giving him a bit extra for the insurance, coz he's gotta fill out forms and stuff which is a pain.

individually, we'd only save a couple of bucks getting posted together, and we figure we've got a better chance of escaping duties with smaller packages. 130kw here we come! well slowly...

ok now that we got the headers, do we need to do something about the heat? Will it significantly increase the engine bay temp? Is it worth it to get it coated, or maybe wrap it in some insulating wrappy thing, or maybe put the old heatshield back on?

Nah Coldie I dun have a flat driveway. So how r we gonna install da headers? I thought I might do it at one of your places, cause I dun even have a drive on ramp (if we need one). neway let us know where u decide to do da install.

just got off the phone with justcar.
got a good price i reckon $1115.
currently paying $1051 thru aami, and the chick i talked to confirmed that aami only allows 3 mods.
Only downside is the excess if youre at fault.
$600 for general, $1000 for damage to mods!!

I have jack stands and a trolley jack (that i don't exactly know how to use properly), all we need is a good driveway.

Zed do you have a flat driveway that we could borrow?

hey zed where abouts in sydney are you?? Yeah when we do find a place to do the install, come along.

I've got an idea on the install, how about we do it in homebush, olympic park, its deserted! and believe me there are lots of flat ground avaliable. Just a thought, let us know if you have better ideas.
