Header for the SP20

twilight, can u still get cheap hiflow cats for us? and are they rust-proof?
how much do you think it'll cost to get one custom made if we provide our own cat?

and yeah i prob don't wanna lose even more low end torque, so probably 2.5 is too big. and its probably safer to get it custom made coz it'll fit exactly.

its just a catalytic converter that is less restrictive (in terms of gas flow) than the stock ones. i dunno if they do as good a job in reducing pollutants as the stock ones tho.
kinda like a straight-thru muffler compared to a stock muffler with baffles - better flow at the expense of less noise reduction.

hey ppl i got my header today, and damn its shiny. I cant wait to install it..Jus want to knw when you guys are free so we can finally install this baby.

nah dere wasn't any custom duties. I'm not sure what was supposed to be included, but I got a Header and a Header gasket.

yeah someone out dere must really like me, I thought we should have got the headers together??

yeah the gasket is on the engine side of the header. but mine is bent, i probably have to use my stock one again.

yes im very tempted to do the install myself... (yippy)

by the way do we have to do the MIL fix, because if we do we cant do the install without power, since we need to solder.

anyway just let me know when u get the header.

Nah we dont need the MIL fix for our sp20s as we have different computer to the yankie doodles
