Full exhaust

:
03 mazda protege LX
I want to do a full exhaust, this is what i have looked at so far,OBX Header,SLS Midpipe, and a JIC Magic SUS DE Type 1 Exhaust. Everything except from the header comes from protege garage,I found the header on amazon.com. I want to know if anyone has used these parts, and if there are any fitting issues.

I had a OBX header from ebay (so don't know HOW MUCH obx they actually where), SLS midpipe and racing beat catback from PG.
The only problem was an exhaust mount. The original was too small. The problem was solved with a threaded bar, which was bent in a U-shape, a bracket (I actually think we re-used the braket from the original ehaust mount, bent a bit into shape) and two nuts.
All the exhaust parts just boltet straight together.

Oh, and a brass plug bolt for the header was not included with the manifold. It seems the are an option to mount the lamda sensor in the manifold I think, but not sure. Anyways, it needs to be plugged.

The OBX header made a noticable difference in power, the axleback and header combo is rediculiously loud and raspy... But it definitely turns heads...

I have JIC catback and it sounds awesome! I haven't heard any other catback on any other Protege that sounds as good as my JIC. But that could be also partly because I'm running turbo with a custom downpipe, custom B-pipe (2.75'') and 2.5'' JIC catback. Did I mention no cats and 1 resonator? hehe. I'll have to record a video for ya.

found my old video. This is what my exhaust sounded like before I boosted my car. Custom 2.75'' B-pipe, JiC catback 2.5''. No 2nd CAT, 1 resonator. ENJOY!

finally recorded a decent video of my exhaust. All of the info is in the video. This is low RPM teaser.

DIS we need some drive by full throttle videos please. I love how the tbe sounds..nice work

This makes me ok with switching from an sbc. Can't wait to get my exhaust and intake done to at least open the engine up some and get some better sound.
