FREE MPI help!

oddly no,I am smooth while building boostwatching the narrowband, wideband, and MPI O2,all perfect.
I don't have any issues actually tuning a perfect fuel trim, exept that I can't get into boost to see what needs to be tuned.

it smooth before boost, while building boost, then once I get close to about 10 PSI,buck, buck, buck.massive fuel gets dumped in,and the cursor jumps to lesser load.

so,I started boosting a few days ago,and realized I can't.
I felt FUEL CUT!!!!!!!!!................or,thats what I thought.

seems as though it really isn't much of a fuel cut at all, instead it goes straight to a rich misfire, odd.

I watched the cursor, and it went dramaticly lower in the load, aswell.

Do a data log when this is happening and e-mail it to me.

Yeah, you may have to lower you're fuel upper limit. Nick had to do this on some of his cars he's done when at higher boost then 10psi. Seems a little odd to need to do so at 10psi, but maybe that's what you need. Try lowering it to 4.8 or 4.7 and see if it helps. The datalog would help a lot too.

Does not run.

ok,I have another one that does for sure,I have already reviewed it.

one thing is for sure though,I AM maxing to 5. V one the MAF,the amp input V was climping while going to boost fine, then it hit 4.98(were I had it set)then BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!5V fuel cut.

I lowered it to 4.37,and I still hit.

runs for me. u have all 0's in the analog? and jsut using the exta injectors?

i just want to confirm im seeing the same thing u are.

yeah,I do this because I have muchbetter throttle response, decel, and start up.

I let the ECU run the stockers for a good A/F ratio, till I start building boost, the problem I have is I can tune for boost yet, because I can't tune the fuel cut out.

yea makes sense. ill be honest and say id be guessing about this. i havent hit fuel cut personally yet so i couldnt tell u how to deal

nick, change the com port its looking at till it doenst say, invalid port and it will play for u :)

yea but for some reason it will try to com with mpi, and if its one thats in use when ur not hooked up or whatever it wont play. shouldnt matter which one u recorded it on. long as it doesnt say inv com port when u open the sw.

any way,...................................I wanna boost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's built, and ready, the only thing holding me back right now is this damn tune

I only saw it hit 4.63v, where are you seeing the 5v? Where abouts in this log do you experience the "fuel cut"? I see that in the 64% column and 3959RPM, your AFR goes pegged rich, what is the actual AFR off a WBO2 if you have one? Is that where you feel it? If so then it's because you are too rich in that area. Other then that, I don't see you hitting the 5v that would make you have fuel cut.

Oh, I didn't have to change any comm port settings to get it to work, and this is with the old SW. A playback is for offline so it doesn't matter what comm port, I still don't understand why this seems to work for some people.(uhm)

i know its offline, and for wahtever reason if u start mpi, and it says invalid port or doesnt play, if u change the com setting it will. how come? i have no idea but it works.

dunno.

for example his plays on urs just fine. now go into the sw, change teh port to one that says invalid when u pick it (com 3 for me) then try to playback..it wont. so i guess it thinks its communicating?
