Fmic

I'm still waiting on an L-shaped pipe to get here, and it will be here tomorrow. I'll take photos once I finish it up tomorrow and post what I bought so that others can do the same if they want. There was some cutting involved, but it's better than spending $600+ on one, and I'd say the most expensive part about going custom is buying the freaking elbow couplers. Most expensive parts besides the FMIC core.

thanks your running a custom fmic how is it working for you ?

Awesome keep me posted if all goes well i'll follow your setup cutting is not a issue for me =)

metallic36, what size core are you going with? and how much did you end up spending on everything?

I'm actually thinking of putting the kits together and selling on here or eBay, of course on here I'd have to be a vendor first, but just a thought. The whole kit would include the core, all the piping, couplers, clamps, reducers, elbows, etc. that would be needed. Core fits on the bumper support, so a 22 x 7 x 2.5 core, whole FMIC would be 28" long, piping would be 2.5".

That looks so pointless because the bumper is blocking half of it anyways. And plus hes probably not pushing enough boost to even gain hp.

i upgraded my turbo too a gt35r so my front mount helps alot and foxracer i was pushing 19psi with the stock turbo and deffinatly gained horspower

sorry boosted speed, i still think you could have went with a smaller intercooler and just went 3.5 inches thick with 3 inch pipe and been better off. I didnt know you could run 19psi on the stock t25. and of course you gained hp because your pushing 19 psi.

LOL I dunno.. kinda have to wonder why boosted_speed has to boost it all the way up to 19 psi just to get that much more HP, while others are not boosting that much and they're making more power. Kinda seems like overload for the MSP even if you did upgrade the turbo. What EMS are you using for all of it?

well i went 3inch for the intake and 2.5 for the stock turbo

i get what ur saying but like it was a bet that thisguy made with me becouse he said that i couldnt push out 19psi with that turbo and that i wont make 300hp with it but im still tryin to figure something out with my ecu so i havent dynoed the car but i know for a fact that when the car was running you can feeel the diff..
