Can someone please check under the front plate

Can someone please check under the front plate that’s above the grille and lights. Is the surface rough or smooth? The collision place said it came from the factory like that but I have a hard time believing anything would have a texture on a 2021 Mazda CX-9.

It’s called the upper molding. On both the left and right under the molding both sides have a texture. I think it would be smooth as there is no point to that part having a texture. TIA

Here's a pic from my 2018. The underside is indeed slightly textured and unpainted.
