CRX with B18 all motor. How fast is it?

so that's looking at 1800 - 2000 lbs.... vs a speed6 that's pretty much 3,700 lbs.

A gutted CRX should be WAY under 2000 lbs. They're maybe 2100 lbs completely stock. Gutted, it should be 1800# MAX.

It'll weigh right around half what the MS6 weighs, so if it's got anything approaching 200hp, it should walk away.
 
a b16 and a b18 are completely different.
b16s are obviously a 1.6 and b18s are a 1.8.
The heads can be interchanged though, the b16 head actually flows a little better than the b18c1, but almost identically to the b18c5.

As for the s2k. Theyre really not all that powerful only 240 hp or so on a 2800 lb car(I think). only quick on their super top end, like 5500-9000 rpm.

I was just being generous regarding weight. I do have a buddy that has his crx and his weighs i'm pretty sure between 1700-1800

Danspeed, from a DIG, I'm positive Karma would win... the AWD should help his advantage while the crx spins, I already stated that. oh and you're right I was thinking of the d16... there's too many honda engines, since I'm not a big honda fan I never bother to memorize them, except the certain "big boys" like the b18, h22a, k24 etc

But from a roll race, with a car that's 200 hp and weighs 1700 lbs..... that's 1 ton lighter than the mazdaspeed6 (3,700lbs car weight.... 2,000lbs is 1 ton, for anyone not in the know)

with a 1 ton disadvantage on it's side.... I'm pretty sure the crx will win by a car length, 2 at the most.
 
Yeah I'm screwed. He has the JDM version B18c with 200hp/137tq and the 8900 redline.

Ya never know til you try bro........ were you guys planning to run from a dig or a roll?

Don't forget you're not entirely stock you have the intake/exhaust and boost controller mods. So you may just win (dunno)
 
Nah, I dont have exhaust, just intake and boost.

Ima race MS6Mike to see where I stand. He only had the full turboback from CP-E.

If we race it would be from a roll. Not too fan of the digs anymore. Scared of braking something. Our differentials are made of glass. With 30K I already had my fair share of digs lol

I thought you had purchased his exhaust, my bad bro. Ah from a roll I think he'll get a car maybe 2 on you....

how much of a roll? 20 or 30 or what? anyways I know what you mean about the scared of breaking something... when I'm driving and I engage 2nd it's rough as hell and all the other gears are smooth... been like that for a while too

and damn 30k I'm like 50 miles from hitting 20k. It seems like yesterday I only had 6k :(
 
I seen the b18 do low 15's to high 15's at the quarter mile track best is maybe a 14.8? my friend had one and he couple bolts on and barley hit the 14s thats with the ls motor which is non vtec the gsr can pull mid 14s easyer probly better. type r goodbye? :)

isn't the b18c a type r engine?
