At least you got the sorry part right. Your on record as refusing to vote for either candidate. You assume unintelligent voting because its different from yours.
Your opinions are just that and not so many good points which need to be answered.

No, I assume unintelligent voting because the majority of people I have conversed and that post with have no flippin idea what each candidates stands for, and they say, "Well they have to be better than Bush."

That's not a reason to vote for someone.

Vote for who belives in the same things as you. For me there is no one.

i guess ur better off in the sidelines (nailbyt) Since u think bush is actually better than these 2 candidates, read up on your facts plz :). Bush is probably 1 of the worst president ever. (not to mention , he has a very low presidential rating )
just my 2 cents, this is my opinion , right now, economy sucks, gas are high , taxes are high, and we are in the war , spending billions of dollars....thx 2 bush...so.. im not picking a republican candidate this year :)

on another note, i think clinton would be a better president since she has more experience than obama ...but thats my opinion....

im thinking if obama wins...mcain might crush him cuz of lack of experience crap...oh well..we'll just see :)

Then I guess we should get rid of the democrat controlled congress also since their approval rating is lower than the presidents? :)

Any candidate that is going to win this election is going to do what all others have done. Take away OUR liberties. So, to me.. Barrack and Hillary are both s***. And i don't see how ANYONE would vote for Hillary.. Every time she loses a state she start talking s*** about Obama just to get some votes.. The Hillary campaign is like a bunch of JR. High kids. I cant believe she has so many votes. America............ OPEN YOUR EYES.

Yeah, she pretty much disgusts me. Her campaign tactics are apalling. I may not agree with Obama and think that among his peers, he's a political lightweight but I think he has run a mostly honorable campaign and despite the shallowness of it, He does give people something to believe in and sometimes thats all you need. The hope of a brighter future. I would not vote for Obama, but I like him much better than Hillary.

But unfortunately...This is typical and nothing new.

I Voted for Clinton on tuesday...and she did win Ohio....But I beleive Obama would likely be a better president.
He would be the first African American President and I feel he is the type of guy who would want to make sure that he proves himself to the country and for history purposes.
I think he would actually try to make some good out of being president..Even if the the house and Congress wouldn't agree with his ideas.
None of them can ever look out for the good of the real people of this country.
Always looking to pad their pockets.

The governement is run by industry and driven by money and power...and if you are not part of that...then you get passed by everytime.

SO the way I see it...No matter what candidate becomes the next president....Whether it be Obama or Hillary...a Republican or Democrat...It really won't affect my daily life in anyway that make even the slightest mark.

So if you think Obama would make a good pres then why did you vote for Clinton??(spank)

Obama's the man. Hillary and the 'Clinton Machine' are an absolute disgrace. Anyone that thinks her campaign wasn't behind the many smear tactics (most recently being the Kenyan ceremonial dress nonsense) needs to wakeup. Her response to Kroft on 60 min (which was analyzed quite accurately on the Factor) told me everything I need to know about her.

Would she make a good prez? Absolutely... the 2 headed monster would gradually fix all the mistakes captain numb nuts made the past 8 years and get this country back on track. But Obama... he's just got that certain charm that few politicians in history possess. IMO, (if he gets elected) he has the potential to be revered along the likes of Lincoln, JFK, Clinton (ironically) & Reagan.... politics aside, these guys all had tons of charisma and were able to use that to their advantage.

Sadly, with the exception of Clinton.... all of them were either assassinated or (in Reagan's case) came THIS close... Hate to say it but, I can totally see some white supremest pos making an attempt. Secret Service would have to be on their A game 24/7...

Anywayz... it looks like neither will have enough delegates anyway. (even with the ridiculous super delegates!) now there's a reason to go republican if I ever heard one. So FL & MI are going to be put back in the mix... somehow. More than likely Clinton & Obama are going to have to foot the bill.... unfortunately for my man, both of those states went to Clinton in the pretend primary so... unless those states have switched their allegiance within the last month... Clinton will probably gain the edge she needs to squeak this thing out. Hopefully Barack's got more in the tank... it's all about momentum at this point. Wyoming aside, Clinton's got it....

He should've CB'ed her and went on SNL last week instead. That appearance (along with the pro-Clinton SNL writers... STFU Tina Fey!!) helped her immensely.

niether of them are even worth voting for, i mean hell obama wont even stand up for the pledge of alligence!!! i mean what the hell why would you vote for a man that will not even stand up for somthing that our country has fought to defend. their have been so many american lifes lost for what our flag stands for and this peice of crap wont even stand up for it??? i mean guys you all have lost it if you want to vote for somthing like that.

It will be Hillary on top, and Obama on the bottom. Even Bill gave the go-ahead for it. I'm sure Hill could teach "big ears" a thing or two when it comes to who's in charge. She's going to break out the cat-of-nine tails on his little butt and beat him into submission. Watch and see when their convention comes to Denver. It's going to be a riot. (enguard)

LMAO This is the kind of BS the Clinton machine manufacturers. 60 min a couple weeks ago interviewed some blue-collar, middle-class types in Ohio... many of which voiced the same types of concerns about Obama. (along with him being a Muslim and other nonsense.) Kroft tried to correct them but they seemed set in their thinking.... Unfortunately (for those who like the idea of a fair election) that was a microcosm of what's going on across the country. The unimformed majority (of undecided/swing voters) believe this crap (as referenced above)

No offense dude but... you need to get your facts straight. The 'real' piece of BS that go ponied about was that he didn't put his hand over his chest during the pledge of allegiance. (that someone, just like a game of phone in grade school I suppose) turned into him not standing for the national anthem. lol

In reality... he stood for and placed his hand on his chest for the pledge... but took it off for the national anthem. (while hillary and richardson kept it on) THIS is the photo that circulated and, naturally, the Clinton machine turned it into something it was not.

So don't believe the BS... get the facts before making a judgement.

arent u supposed to have your hand on your heart for the national anthem too?

United States Code, 36 USC Sec. 301
-STATUTE-
(a) Designation. - The composition consisting of the words and
music known as the Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem.
(b) Conduct During Playing. - During a rendition of the national
anthem -
(1) when the flag is displayed -
(A) all present except those in uniform should stand at
attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart
;
(B) men not in uniform should remove their headdress with
their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder,
the hand being over the heart; and
(C) individuals in uniform should give the military salute at
the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until
the last note; and

(2) when the flag is not displayed, all present should face
toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the
flag were displayed.

Highly doubt that... Highly doubt the converse as well.

Whoever makes it through... will most likely pick up the majority of the other's votes. On what basis do you think VPs are picked? Sure, America might love to see them both on the same ticket but experts know that it probably wouldn't help their chances since Barack's people (while they may hate Hillary now) are still dems and would rather see her than a rep... especially one who has no qualms about staying in Iraq for... however long. So they'll go to Hillary.... If this were to happen (and I hope it doesn't) would Hillary then need Barack on the ticket? She'd need a strong, military "man's man" to compete with McCain.... As cool as Obama might be... he doesn't fit the... bill.

As for Barack... do you really think he wants Hillary (and Bill) interfering with him? When you're an incompetent like GW... you need an elder, more experienced VP to run the show (behind the scenes). When you're a superstar in the making you're not going to play second fiddle to anyone... Barack's VP would be everything he's not. An introvert who doesnt' want to steal the spotlight... an older gent (with a military background of course) who's able to pull some of the millions of americans who are/will be on the fence... leaning towards McCain. That's what it's all about in selecting the VP... getting someone on board that can help sway those people. If they haven't already been swayed by numero uno... it aint never gonna happen. The "good/bad cop" needs to step in and do his thing.

There's an interesting response to this here...

But more importantly... not only should none of them put their hand over their chest... none of them should have even stood! In fact, they all should have bumrushed the... "singer" and pummeled her. She makes Carl Lewis sound like Whitney Houston!

well like i stated my opinion and untill you can show me some hard core evidence where he isnt standing i will not belive it. either way his step father is a radical (after checking my facts it says he is a mild muslim) muslim and his dad left him at a young age, so his step father i would assume had a hand in raising him now im not saying that if his step father was a radical obama would too but im saying that some of those view points had to wear off on this child. i mean we are all intitled to have our own opinion and mine will not change on obama or "billery" for that matter.

Well, this was partly directed at me, so I guess I should respond. Whoever is elected, McCain, Obama, or Clinton, I think they'll be better than Bush. I'm pretty moderate so all of the candidates have something that I like. I'm actually very happy that McCain wrapped up the nomination. I'm going to see who ends up on the democratic end to see who I'm voting for, but it will most likely be the democratic candidate because from all that I've read, they're more in line with my thinking.

And there's no proof that Obama's father was a radical muslim. It's just another rumor that comes up during election time to fuel the anti-islam ignorance that many people suffer from.

Does that work?

And even if, at one point, he did pick up some Muslim morals, why is that per se a bad thing? Your post reeks of bigotry and racism. Why are your religious morals so superior to any others?

If this is really how you feel and think - refrain from procreation.

All you people voting for these two, what policies of theirs do you like?

Why are you voting for either?

Do you actually know their stances on the issues?

How will Barack "change" America? Is change good or bad? How much does this "change" cost? What exactly is he going to be changing?

Not trying to cause conflict, I am genuinely interested, as I am refusing to vote for any of these candidates because I actually do my research on their policies, and proposed changes.
My biggest issues in this campaign are - Economy, civil rights, SCOTUS appointments, International standing

Economy - Both dem candidates have decent economic plans. The biggest is to get rid of those BS tax cuts that favor the most affluent of society, and to close tax loopholes which give both the ability to move jobs out of the US AND take corporate tax protections. Never has a national leader CUT taxes while at war. He's an idiot.
We also have to curb spending, esp in the military. We are spending a ton of $$ in a war where the natives don't want us there. **** em. Leave.

Civil Rights - The latest is the veto of a bill making waterboarding illegal. But that's so small in the grand scheme...how about total destruction of fourth amendment protections by federal investigators? Ben Franklin said it best...."Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety".

SCOTUS - At least one SCOTUS appointment will be made in the next four years, and perhaps as many as three. This country cannot afford another Thomas/Scalia/Roberts/Alito on that bench. To interpret the constitution as it was written, without any determination of how society has changed in 200+ years is ridiculous.

International - Never before has our nation's goodwill and stature been so decimated. If we are to have any ability to use NEGOTIATION and DIPLOMACY again, we have to rebuild our international stature.

There are many others, but those are most important for me.

BTW - I'm voting for Obama.
I will not vote for Hillary.
If forced, I'll vote for McCain.
Hillary is just too divisive. The last thing this country needs is another divisive president.
