cams help

What kind of tools will i need to install my camshafts. I have both exhaust and intake cams. Like what specialty tools will i need, stuff that i can buy before i start the install....planning on doing it next week....so the sooner the help the better...thank you in advance

Same tools as you need for anything else.

Crowbar, Hammer, and Duct tape.

Only thing I can think of that is special would be a torque wrench and a breaker bar large enough to turn the crankshaft.

oh don;t forget the condom and the super glue.

At the bare minimum you should have some new cam seals, a nice set of socket wrenches, and a torque wrench.

You will need a Torque wrench for around 100-125 in lbs. You also need another for 37-40 ft. lbs. Socket set, Breaker Bar, Assembly Compound(Anti-seize) Black RTV(Gasket Silicon), New oil filter and oil(to change after you break them in), and new cam seals. Make sure you run the engine for 30 min at 1500-2000rpm to break them in. If you need anymore help or pointers pm me. I just did it last weekend so it's pretty fresh in my mind. Hope this helps! And a Twix... because it could take a while that way
