For all you that are dreaming about owning an EVO VIII, a few dealers out here in Southern California are offering EVO's for $25,500. Sounds like a great deal IMHO, but I'm done owning Mitsubishi, too unreliable.

WHY so low?! what is the deal that they sell that CHEAP!?

I WANT ONE

good post! (thumb)

Yes, very good deal. Pretty much cars with the MSRP of $30,337 which includes the big ass wing and a moonroof. Not too bad for $25,500. And I still can't figure out why they are selling them so cheap. Same thing with RX-8's. Dealers are selling them at invoice around here.

Average Evo VIII in houston is 31K. The RS version is due out in like 3 months, if regular EVOs are 25K then they oughta go for lik 22K.

They are cheap because the car market SUCKS ASS right now. I see ford dealerships selling Mach 1's for like 21k!!!! and every other commercial is for a car dealership. and I live in the biggest auto market in the country.

What dealers in So. Cal? :D

Check the LA Times classified section for Sunday 1/4/2003. I belive it was Browning Mitsubishi in Cerritos, and Riverside Mitsubishi. Maybe Claremont too.

combination of bad car market and overpricing on 'unrefined and rushed to production cars' from the start...Not that these cars are the only ones at all, I just kind of think that all cars these days are done poorly quality wise...which we all know has been very evident; all the while, prices continue to rise, and margins grow for the manufactures...that's how they can afford all those commercials to try and grow volume. In the end, the dealer gets screwed because they can't sell for much of a profit. Manuf. makes their money one way or another. (IMHO)
