Was the fastest. Now the 05' Ninja (1200) is supposedly the fastest. But mine is by far the quickest( 0-60 and qtr mile) mine only tops out at around 211 mph though....ONLY!? (band2) If I had another gear i swear this thing would do 250! i HAVE ABOUT 10 MORE HORSE THAN BOTH AND ABOUT 20 MORE LB./FT. OF TORQUE. Not bad for a 2 BANGER (bike)
hmmm a ninja thats intresting i still think the busa is the sexiest though and its cheaper then a duccati as well but im thinking ahead ill have a bike sooner or later not the best vehicle while your still in highschool though so ill have to wait another year and plus i though a busa could go 220mph and im pretty sure that was stock cause suzuki named the bike after a japanese bird that can fly that fast in a dive of course again just wondering

bone stock, the 999r AKA (the SATAN slayer) is an $18,000 Superbike! (naughty) It's built for the soul pupose of racing, unlike a Busa which is built for straight line top end runs. a busa is actually designed so that it rides smoother and with less wind resistance at 200 mph than at 70! it is an amazing machine, don't get me wrong.
yeah i wana see a slip also, come on now a stk bike that runs 8's in the quarter? dont think so, i have been riding bikes since i was old enough to walk, v-twin is not even close to inline 4 unless u have a top-fuel nitro harley!!!!

also 10 more hp and what maybe 20 30 lbs of torque more is going to drop u in to mid 8's in the quater? i see it was late when u wrote this!!!! lol maybe u was stoned? no way in the world would a stock bike with a stock length swing arm will go 8's in the quater. it takes 350whp to run in the high 7's in the quater on a bike. and a bike like ures isnt even made for straight line racing. its one of the most refined handling bike made period.

humm? 139 HP at a weight of 439, you're a little off cool guy. People are funny they hear Ducati and think; fastest bikes eva, even with the 620 monsters. Ducati's are fast, but there real potential is on the track, and i dont mean drag strip.
yea I'm gonna wanna see slips...my brother is a certified ducati tech at the dealership here in tampa and he said bs on that one, as did the 3 other techs...they actually had 3 sittin in the showroom and theres no way if it was stock that it ran that...I've actually ridden the 999r and I can tell you for a fact you'd never be able to keep the front end down on a stock arm...you cant even gun it in 1,2 or 3 with out the front end going over...
