NEMOC Random BS Thread

I totally schooled a GT-R last night...virtually LOL. Gran Turismo has this concept of performance points. Cars start out with a certain number of points and as you mod them their points go up. If you go over, you can add weight or a restrictor plate to de-tune your car. My RX-7 was running about 240hp while the GT-R was probably dropped down to 200. He was quicker through the turns but didn't know how to drive. A little love tap from him sent me drifting around this corner. After a few more turns the GT-R was no where in sight

We need to get more NEPOCers playing this game!

Fixed the damn Audi. Key is removable now. Ended up not using the new lock cylinder, a loose pin was messing up the old one.

Had a fun time removing horn pad (no air bag), steering wheel, loosening the steering wheel column, drilling in a strategic place on the lock "holding assembly" to pop out the original lock.

Hey Chris, keep us updated on it and I'm thinking to get one as well, where did you buy it that cheap or didn't came with package deal ?

I use to play a lot while in elementary but somehow i can't see myself back in playing games/PS2/3 ever since.
I wish this was back then bc I would've made sure I mastered it lol

BTW, GT doesn't have RX7 R2 or R3 ?

I need to figure out how to make LRP work for me

the wedding is on saturday the 28th at 5pm in torrington, 30min from the track. So in theory i can go and hang out for most of saturday then go to the wedding and come back after the reception. I would just need to remain clean while at the track so i dont go to the wedding all stinky.
 
well if i end up missing saturday night, how much will I end up missing from the whole LRP experience? I dont want to miss the majority of the fun and good times

ALOT!! The entire weekend is fun, I cant speak for Sunday myself, havent stayed all day sunday, but Fri Sat ar a blast, the daytime is great with all the racing, but nighttime at the campsites are usally pretty fun! I know last year was great!

It has all the mounts, memory card, and cables... What package deal are you talking about?
 
What's up folks!

Fun drive in to work today. I love when they send the email saying "Offices are open, but use your best judgement coming in." Ok... email was sent at 730 this morning. I was in line at the cafeteria getting my coffee when I got the email. Gee, thanks alot!
 
Happy Friday all! It's a wet one here. Congrats on the GoPro Chris. Would love to pick one up at some point.

Saturday night overnight? Or Saturday evening activities? Basically we all get drunk and have a good time.... but that's also true for 8am on Friday (don't ask me how I'd know).... The big race isn't until Monday, there's no racing on Sunday, and really, if you miss a few hours, you won't miss much of the whole experience, IMHO.
