Fixed the damn Audi. Key is removable now. Ended up not using the new lock cylinder, a loose pin was messing up the old one.

Had a fun time removing horn pad (no air bag), steering wheel, loosening the steering wheel column, drilling in a strategic place on the lock "holding assembly" to pop out the original lock.

So I picked up a GoPro HD 1080p camera for 215 shipped the other day... It's sitting at the apartment main office and I can't play with it until Friday. :(

Becoming and AUDI expert mechanic are we? Nice work Oleg.

Man, that looks like fun. The real question is... how many light bulbs did you have to replace in the process? ;)

Sorry to hear Mark.

Morning NEPOCers! Taking the kids to see Gnomeo and Juliet in 3D today. Then out to Lunch! Work tonight then off for a big three day birthday weekend!! Mazda5 gets new tires tomorrow!

Nice Tony. Speaking of Mazda 5, I drove around my friends and family in theirs this past weekend. I was surprised on how much initial torque it has with 4 adults and 2 children. However once on the highway it has zero power for passing with a full load. It is comfortable though.

They are comfy, Yea when its loaded down forget it, its sluggish, but when I am in it by myself she gets up pretty good. She did pretty good with a full car last year on out way to LRP not bad at all.

The rental I had did pretty well on CO-119. I was up around 8200 ft at the peak. Here's a map of the fun drive I had. I was giggling the whole time. Flying up on much nicer cars that should be faster in the twisties than me.
