HP+ pads
Fluid is the non blue version of ATE superblue
The lines are all made by the same people so I don't remember who truly made them.
Rotors are something different than what is out there for the 2 right now. I will have pictures and some more info later.

Fancy 2 piece rotors?

i went ahead and got my muffler deleted yesterday at a local muffler shop. Surprisingly enough it's really not that loud, and sounds pretty damn good. Acceleration is a bit loud in the cab but once you are up to speed it literally goes silent, no drone at all. Obviously you wont have the performance gains of a complete exhaust system, but i really missed being able to hear a car, our car with the stock muffler is just too quiet. One of these days long down the road i plan on getting a corksport exhaust w/ racepipe but up until then this will tide me over.

Took the shop about 15 minutes, $60 including cheap universal tip, the stock muffler now has a new home in the garage.

day2 edit: there actually is a slight bit of exhaust drone, but nothing unbearable. Can still hear music/talk in the car normally.

So a friend of mine just bought a 93 LE miata with 23K miles and I helped him swap some parts over from his white Miata. I like black if you couldn't tell. He usually likes white, but once I put his black wheels on it he really started to like the black thing.

Not for him. He likes white most, but the LE was only Black. I like black, but without metallic flake I hate all of the scratch marks you can see in my paint.

Oh should have mentioned but last weekend I hit 50K on the 2!!

Low mileage black LE!? I'm jealus. Those cars are beautiful.

I signed up my wife and I for the AMP track day in March. You going?

Who is putting on the event? I am planning on running at Roebling Road in April with Nasa.

JZilla. PM me if you want the signup link. He has good food brought in for lunch. Also snacks and water available throughout the day. $265, or if you can instruct then its only $200 I think. Expensive for a track day, but worth it to me because its so close. Also the bathrooms are super nice and even have luxurious scented hand soap.

Edit: I got an email saying its 80% full now.

I might look into that. It is only 2 hours from my place. I found a link to the registration info. Is your wife driving the Miata or her 2?

The 2 is mine and she drives the 5. The miata was actually her idea (she missed the last one). Its the designated track car and we'll be alternating sessions. We codrove the last one at a couple of autocrosses to. She seems to like track days better than autocross.

Well this weekend it was a very wet one.

I am surprised that the car rolled that much in the rain. That was with the 185 RT-912's as well.

Almost lifting the inside rear.

Looks like a skid pad test, lol

Yea the lot we use is long and skinny so each end is a 180 with different types of offsets in the middle. I also ran the Miata, it just drifted everywhere. I also got to drive my friends original beetle. That was a ton of fun. There are pictures of it in the gallery from the pictures I posted.

Random point but every time I see the front of my car I really like how I painted the fog light bezels. It looks much cleaner.

I believe so. With my street tires it is pretty easy to get into the ABS compared to before, so I figure it doing what it should keeping out flex. Going to take some time to get used to it. I am sure I will like it on that track day in March. I officially signed up for it. Going to be fun.

how did it go getting the brake line fittings loose? I got that same set for Christmas but for the life of me could not get the front drivers side brake fitting loose. I got really discouraged after the the "holding nut" on the stock rubber line rounded off that i just put all the wheels back on and called it a day. Think i might have to take it to a shop to get superheated off or something now.
