The mofo is leaking a lot of coolant now at the turbo (Ugh!) so now I have ordered steel braided coolant lines along with the corresponding fittings which came out to a grand total of $146 (unamused). Hopefully that will fix it for good! Silicone tubing can't withstand the heat. I also ordered a pair of slim fans from frozenboost and they will be installed along with the coolant lines and the corksport front mm insert. Upon close inspection, I saw that my stock front mm is ripped! (shocked)

I didn't expect to get these parts so soon, but it's better to take care of this now before a bigger problem arises. I installed the bronzoil shifter bushings and man, it really tightened up shifting!

Got some work done last week. Installed the front motor mount insert, slim fans, and changed the old silicone line to braided lines! No more leaks!

I know the title is misleading lol. Should be "Your Average Turbo p5" lol nothing special really going on with my build. I'm in the process of buying a 3" full exhaust from a member on the board. Can't wait to get it!

As far as vibrations, it's noticeable but it isn't unbearable. My front mount was torn so they engine shook a lot and I could feel the shifter wiggling/moving as I decelerated. But now it doesn't move and wheel hop has been significantly reduced! I still have to change my passenger mount and rear mount though.

Thank you, brother! I love the lip, it adds a lot to the front although it is subtle. The urethane is getting discolored so I'm planning on painting it soon. I see in your sig you're looking for an exhaust, I'm putting up my HKS Hi-power axleback exhaust for sale if you're interested. But if you plan to boost, you should get a full 2.5" exhaust made.

I had the AWR front mount and side mount inserts and they were just a bit much for daily driving, but now without them I get way to much wheel hop when autocrossing, for 20 bucks I should probably just order it lol

How much you looking to get for the HKS? did u like it? how is it on highway.. i drive over 1.5 hours a day to and from school so a terrrrribllee drone would mean i would HAVE to get better speakers to cancel out. Those should be going in soon.

I want to get the AWR side mount inserts now! I don't mind the vibrations but a lot of my friends are like "why is your car so shakey?" Lol! The CS front inserts are totally worth it though!

I LOVE the HKS, the sound is subtle and I love how it's angled. I'm thinking $180 + shipping or so. I'm boosted and I have headers so it may be louder for me, but the drone isn't bad. It's something I can handle, but then again I don't drive 1.5 hours to and from school lol.

No silencers on them and I think it's the 55mm piping, brah. I love the angle too, it's awesome. Maybe I'll get a HKS muffler fitted to the 3" exhaust that I'm getting.

So I got my 3" exhaust last week from bradicu18 (pictures ensue) however I won't be installed it until after I get back from Vegas the end of the month. The reason why is because I just dropped $550 (boom06) getting the driver's side wheel bearing, hub, and axle replaced today. Freakin' a. However it had to be done and I also noticed a difference in my clutch pedal; it feels longer. Friction point got pushed back as well and it's pretty easy getting into first gear now. Maybe the hub and axle had something to do with it? I'll keep note of how well that goes for. Cars are expensive

EDIT: I'm also thinking of repainting my intercooler because its started to chip from road debris. Should I keep it black or go silver? I can also flip it over and it just says "Mishimoto" on it lol.

My manifold cracked so I got that welded up this week for $20. Welds aren't pretty but they are strong!

I still have that 3" exhaust to install but I need a smog check very soon. (boom06)

And on a side note I've been considering de-snailing and possibly selling everything I have. 150k miles on the motor and I'm afraid to push it anymore before I'm forced to get a rebuild, which I don't have the moolah for. Might just trade the setup for some coils?
