Your Average Silver P5

Sooooo, got a few things worked out in the past. Coolant leak is fixed and I changed out the oil return line. The old line was touching the J-pipe and it actually burned through, so I used a different line that has an elbow on it to move it out of the way. Muy buenisimo! Car boosts amazingly, btw.

Nothing else has really been done to the car. Needs a new wheel bearing/hub in the front driver side. Gonna fix that, then I'm looking into a short shifter and a 3" exhaust that I've been saving to buy from a member on the board. Vegas vacation coming up, so money will be going to that first ;)

Darren, I remember you said $80 for the exhaust and an extra $40 for the highflow 3" cat.

Jordysoso, I put yellow vinyl overlays on the fogs.

Are you still running on the original clutch? My p5 still has the original clutch at 131k miles, not sure how it would hold up if I add a turbo.

another successfully boosted p5, congrats on going to the dark side.

Thanks man! I likes the darkside! Now I just have to go lower lol.

Yes, I'm still on the original clutch and at 146k miles. I think it may be slipping when I boost hard near higher rpms, but for the most part, it holds and I'm not pushing it hard at all. I might be needing a replacement in the future though since it's pretty old. My shifter gets sticky when it's hot outside though -___-

No rust on my baby ;)

I just got back from my vegas/denver vacation and my friend and I took shifts driving 14 hours back home last week. He has a Kia Forte, pretty nice car, but after coming back home and driving my p5 I forgot how much I love the way it drives. Seriously, like a go-kart.

Sooooo, I have yet to install my corksport front mount insert. I also ordered the corksport bronzoil shifter bushings. They will most likely be installed together soon, once I get one of my jack stands back from a friend. So far, I need to get my front left wheel bearing fixed but I'm also on the mission to fixing my squeaky clutch and problem going into first gear when the car is hot. My plan is replace both master and slave clutch cylinders, hopefully that will get rid of the squeakiness of the clutch and maybe even fix the first gear problem. I'm hoping the new shifter bushings will improve the problem one way or another.
