Thats what we are gonna do, but we were just burnt out and said **** it til tomorrow.

But the shifter looks oh so sexy :D

We tried to jump start it but the ******* axle was half out and once we figured that out, we were spent.

Yes, of course I know how to drive stick. lol. I'm not a pro but I shouldn't stall or grind at all as long as I don't try to do quick shifts n stuff until I'm comfortable with it.

Yeah, a bunch.

I didn't take any video like I planned cause I was working on the car w/ them and I didn't wanna be the camera guy for my own car but I got pics and a long list of things to do for a ATX to MTX swap.

Ok, when you start a manual car, what do you have to do? Clutch & Brake right? ok.

Well everything is hooked up but when I turn the key, it wont even attempt to start because the clutch has a sensor that goes to it, but my interior harness does not have that sensor, so even though I'm pushing the clutch in, the computer thinks I'm not since its not getting a signal, so the motor won't start.

did you change the starter? my car starts whether the clutch is pushed in or not, because the neutral safety switch is not connected. theres a wire under the dash that goes to the starter that had to be cut too

Yeah, starter was swapped. We didn't cut a dash wire so I'll look into that. Did you swap engine harnesses? We did. lol.

ok your finishing it today though right?

Yes, we should. This is literally the last thing that needs to be done, besides reinstalling the hood and strut bar.

my bet is that wire IS the neutral safety switch.

nope, still have the atx harness. but if you changed yours, then you shouldnt have to cut anything

Man... What a project! You do realize that you will owe Neox your first born, right?

I know just pulling the turbo and mani on my car would have felt like too much for me alone. Its so nice to have someone helping; another set of hands, and maybe more important another brain and set of eyes to think through all the little setbacks you run into.

Way to hang with it though!
