Painted mz3 wheels... nothing SPECIAL, but the look nice IMO...

I'm probably gonna get 215/45/17 tires for them, will that work? I seriously hate rubber band tires with a passion.

I am pretty sure the 215/45's will work. I know I have seen 215/40's run on them on Pro's.

205 is the preferred width seeing as the wheels are 6.5" wide but I've seen the 215's fit, personally.

215/45/17 is stock for MSP, why wouldn't it work? theres PLENTY of fender clearance on the stock setup.

One word for ya....hatch. lol As for 215/45 (even on MSP wheels) on the P5 I have seen people complain about rubbing and people not complain about rubbing.

my Mz3's are 6.5 width... I think 215 looks right on em... looking forward to 225 on an 8" though! lol change the entire character of the car.

well since we are on the topic of rims fitting..
u guys think evo 8 stockers will fit a pro5?

i cant remember what the offset is but i know they are 8" wide and 17" dia.

depends on offset, if I remember they're pretty low, so fender rolling would be necessary, and 8" wide is awfully wide for the size tire you'd need to clear unless you actually pulled the fenders.

yea ive been around the evo forums and honda forums and alot of people talk about pulling the fenders...what eactly does that mean?

and i think i read somewhere they are around +35...thats the only thing honda's are better at, fitting low offset rims lol

Not saying it doesn't look right....it looks damn good. I am just saying that due to the width a 215 is considered a lil too big (at least according to tirerack).

And yes 225 on 8" will change the entire character of the car 'specially in them turns.

well its stepping down to a 16... but also stepping up to a LOT stickier tire... and not only will it change the handling, the whole look will be different too.. almost a muscle care tire look. some don't like it, I hated it the first time I saw it, to be honest.

BLANG BLANG

lol the evo 8 stockers go for pretty cheap over there
350 for just the rims but these are 800...cuz they are painted i guess lol

yea i like buying stock rims from other cars, they are always alot cheaper then aftermarket rims
those FD's are 7 or 8 inches wide? cuz they really fill the wheel well up nicely, i just want some nice looking, wide winter wheels

16x8... and 13 or 16 lbs (depending which version).... hard to go wrong there.

think I bay be rocking my 15x6" sponges this winter though.. yuck.
