Which coilovers?

Are the K-Sport coilvers height adjustable? I'd like to hear from someone who has them on what the ride quality is like. For my budget, I'm looking at Tein SS coilovers, and I think it will be better for daily driving over the JICs, which I hear are stiff, even on its lowest setting.

Ksport Kontrol Pro Fully Adjustable Coilover Kits provide the ultimate in suspension technology featuring its 36-way adjustable dampening, adjustable spring perch, adjustable body and pillow-ball mounts on some applications. The Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilover kit has been designed with professional road racing in mind offering extremely high value and performance. *Front and rear pillow ball mounts*

I dont know anyone that has these installed on ther Protege but we do have a couple of people in the probe/mx6 world that have them installed. This is what one the people that has them installed had to say about them:

For those who are sitting on this one, I have to say that purchasing the K-sports were one of the best decisions I made for my Probe.

The ride quality is even better than I anticipated. Set on soft, the ride is firm but controlled and does not rattle your teeth when you hit rough pavement like the kind found on nearly every Michigan road.

These things are leagues better than the KYB/Eibach setup they replaced and the adjustability is there for track use. For the money, you certainly can't go wrong. I'll be uploading some pics to my website soon.

Interesting. Never heard of them before though.

Do the JIC's come with camber plates? I seem to remember that they do.

Since no one answered my question earlier, I'll ask again. Are the K-Sport ones that are going on the GB height adjustable? If so, count me in on a set for sure.

YES hieght adjustable and 32-way damping adjustable....only one way though (i think rebound??(braindead )

pm me if you wanna join the gb and ill pass you along to him

hey AutoBox, do you know how low it can go? as in i believe the teins and jics are around .5-3"

just a thought...

it wouldn't be a coilover if it wasn't height adjustable, would it? i do believe thats the whole point of coilovers.

if it wasn't adjustable, wouldn't that be a spring / strut kit?

I've been looking at the B+G also. What would you guys go with? I'm kind of leaning towards the K-Sport system because I believe that $780 plus shipping includes the camber plates.

i would go with the flt-a2's, personally.

a friend of mine has the b+g coilover and he loves them. so, if money is an issue, i would say b+g over k.sport. but thats just me.

b+g is known for quality...i have no clue who k.sport is. i go with what i trust.

Does ksport have a website or any additional pictures of the actual product? I was leaning towards tein b/c it would be more for street driving and occasional tracking and autox. Seems like people are having good luck with them and they wont rattle your eyes out of your skull.

side note... does anyone know the website that makes adj. camber plates and end links, etc. THey had like a whole step by step process of suspension modification. Real cool site, but i dont know where i found it..
