Wheel clear peeling

My wifes 05 Mazda 3 one of her wheels in the back the clear in coming off, is it still covered under warranty or am SOL.

i would ask how many miles? they are probably going to call it a wear item if you have a lot of miles and yeah you will be screwed but i would think anything under 20-25k you should have a good argument on your part... (unless of course its curbed)

well my car has only 17K and its an 05, and its at the dealer right now getting a new wheel. Its def. not curb rash.

I only have 8700 kms and less than 6 mths old.

Take care of that ASAP. I have the same prob with my wheels and the dealer wont fix it after the first year. Mine is an 04 with 25k

Same thing happened to my 04 RX8,It did it on all 4 wheels.They didnt replace them.(pissed)

Whaa? They should - I got mine checked 3 days ago at the dealer. They sent pictures in and I'm awaiting response. Will update.

I have the same problem as well, bubbling paint around all 4 of the centre caps. I have 32000 kms on a 05 m3. I'll find out next week what the dealership is gonna say(confused)

Good news, the dealer (VIP Mazda) (first) is getting four brand new rims in. Question, does anyone know if these rims fit on a 2003 P5. I might buy the old ones and get them painted.(glare)
