Consumer Reports says Mazda is the safest brand

There's a thread here about a CX-5 accident that made the news I believe because it was so horrendous yet the driver was relatively unhurt (if I recall correctly). That solidified how safe the CX-5 really is for me...I think the engine and transmission were literally torn from the vehicle due to the impact.
