What is a good amp to power two subs?

AH, twice thepower to a single coil, thats different. Now what if the single coil can't handle the extra power I wouldn'y think many subs with a 200 rms rating that are DVCs will do well for long if that full 200 was sent over just one coil?

take a look at SVC and DVC subs. the tinsel leads going to the VC are the same. once to the actual VC, it won't have any problem, unless you want to double or triple the rated power of the sub. from my experience, the tinsel leads fry apart if you put too much power through them, and VC's usually seize up from low voltage, which causes excessive heat. it's rare to see a VC have a problem from too much power, in a reasonable setup;) so the main concern would be the tinsel leads, which are the same, regardless of SVC or DVC:D
