Hell, they really don't offer any gains on tracked cars. 75% for show.
/end thread THE Phen has spoken. lol
Really? I figured they would be more functional than that for tracked cars in the form of heat dissapation...
they actually are worse for a DD then OEM style rotors...less surface area=less stopping power

This too.
Plus, going bigger brakes without re-proportioning the system can be devastating to brake performance as well. If your car is designed for 11.7" rotors, and you go up to 12.5" rotors, chances are your brake bias could have changed towards the worst. So many factors to consider with upgrades.
Oh heavens no, don't go to a shop for your brakes on your P5. You'll get *****. They really aren't difficult on the P5. The rear is a b**** if your allen bolt is stripped like mine were. And I strongly suggest bleeding them while you're in there. There are How-To's on all of the items we just covered or PM me and I can give you some help.
edit- Simon is right, you don't need to bleed the system if you're not opening the system. But I like to bleed the lines while the caliper is easily accessable and a friend is nearby. It doesn't hurt.
Phen- don't you have slotted rotors on your MSM?![]()
