What have you done to your P5 today?

currently I'm only running the bar as a brace. When the car finally sees a track I will put a seat in and a harness on the bar.
 
ordered some tires yesterday for the ms3's, now i just need to find a good set of snows. how much money is too much on used snows? i found a set of blizzaks almost new for $200 near by

I lucked out and got some Blizzaks mounted on stealies for $50. They had one season on them so were like new. Personally, I would still pay $200 for Blizzaks. They are incredible in the snow!
 
Not a bad price for like new Blizzaks. I bought my one season used Blizzaks two years ago for $100. They'll be done after this season but I won't complain seeing I'm getting three out of them.
 
I dont have any pics. The top part was mounted to the bar. The bottom two were mounted on to the seat bracket. (made by wedge engineering)
 
Pretty much any half-decent harness is going to have installation instructions included. Generally speaking, the lap belt can bolt to where the "lap belt" on the stock 3 point mounts, and the shoulder straps wrap around (in a very specific pattern) the harness bar. The 5th point usually will require a hole be drilled in the floor and a backing plate be installed (4" x 4", 1/8" steel)

Basically replace the Bolt End in the pictures with a harness bar, and you're set (in a lot of race cars, there are hard points to bolt those bolt ends to, instead of running it around the horizontal support of the main cage hoop, so those parts are always included, at least on any harness I've had experience with)

just ordered a 90* push fit 10AN fitting for my turbo drain, the 45* is making everything just not fit right down under the turbo (IC pipe, DP)
once that comes in, ill change the oil, first time with 10w-30, and then put the fitting on...lets see if this stops my turbo smoking problem or not

Nothing really going on with the P5.. Im banned from buying parts until after the wedding.

As for the pulley I dont know when ill be able to put it on yet.....
 
Mine is torn down in the garage...throwing a TON of Cels and about to do a compression test on it...the spark plugs in both 1 and 2 were swimming in oil when I got home...damn near submerged...
 
I cannot lie...I stopped and looked at another Miata on the way home...if it is true, I will check to see my prices on a KL swap, sell all the turbo parts/extras, and either do the swap or buy another Miata...it is getting insane...I have some of the worst luck...

Messed up...compression is 200+ all the way across, VC is not leaking anymore into the plugs...thinking I now have a shitted out O2 sensor/catalitic converter from the oil running through it...
 
well thats good to hear, so i guess the valve cover gasket was just loose? 02 sensor is an easy fix, so is the cat, what do you have, the stock midpipe?
