Has anyone ever done a p5 with sedan front end b4?
..soo my car is falling apart...3rd gear is basically gone...and the clunking i have constanly i feel is getting worse and im starting to worry that its not the rear motor mount....i think it might have to be with the steering system...anyone know what i should check and see... i mean ive checked and didnt see anything..but i feel i might be over looking something..
When does it clunk? when you turn? bumps? Constantly, regardless of terrain/turns?
Yup, a few.
if im driving straight no bumps its all good.. until i hit a tiny lil pump in the road then i hear the clunk...it also might be happening from when i turn but i think thats a different problem from awhile ago..
How many miles man? My car has a ball joint going on the drivers side and a tie rod end going on the passenger. My car makes a s*** ton of weird clunks. LOL. No rear sway bar installed, so I know it's not that.
It could be a lot of things, but it seems like it's not steering related if it happens when going over bumps... So I would start replacing endlinks, bushings then move to strut mounts (mount bearings to be exact). Wheel bearings can clunk, but then it's more of an all the time thing... And if it is steering, check tie rod ends, steering knuckle/ball joint assembly, and maybe cv joints.

I simply meant if you want a "fast" car, buy a sports car, and I didn't necessarily mean a Miata. I was actually referring to the fellow who almost bought the S2000. Now all you Miata guys are starting s***... again. Haha
For example, my car. I've got a DOHC 2.0liter 4 cylinder with basic bolt-ons, CAI, ported/polished intake mani, header, header-back catless exhaust and a "chip" (the MP3 ECU). You put those same bolt-ons on a B20B and I'll bet my left nut you'll get more than 115whp on the dyno. In comparison, our cars are not fast.
I was at a weekly car cruise in last week and a Honda guy was checking out my car and said "This is nice, man. It's really clean." to which I replied "Thanks, man. But it's slow." He was shocked. I was like "Oh yeah, these things are slow. It dynoed 115whp.". Again, he was shocked. Call me a Honda fan boi, I don't care. These motors are slow. But I can't fit an acoustic upright bass in a sports car, so I bought my P5. Now that I don't have my upright anymore, I'm looking at sports cars, or at least something smaller.

very true, i dont understand why these engines lack so much power, it doesnt make sense to me at all
s2k's are nice and all but i dont think i could drive one, i need a four door lol i would LOVE an EVO wagon, from japan, but thats very unlikely lol
