What have you done to your P5 today?

im fiberglassing mine to make it work... so i have been making a fiberglass box persay.... gonna us the factory privacy cover as a guide then make a copy .. then make boxez... dunno how loud it will be or how much of an improvement it will be. but i want them.. i suppose

You really don't want to spend any time/effort to put speakers in the rear (besides subs that wouldn't fit elsewhere). Just focus your efforts on what is in front of you (the doors). A great soundstage is a real treat!

I upgraded my rear speakers and I noticed a big difference. I know people say the work isn't worth it but I found it to be a nice difference for me. (dunno)

My back seat passengers are also happy that they can hear music now.

sooo..... kindly to the @(#%U@$^T@ morons at the stealership they managed to @^%$%#&^# up my amp.. ( im a little mad... just a _@$^@#$&#@ little ) and it went up in flames....

well while i had the time to take my huge subs out of the trunk... i also found out that they changed my wires tooo..... GRRRR ( they swapped out my amp wires for whatever reason and why they would touch them is beyond me..

on a good note though... now that the 175lb box is out of the trunk... my gas consumption went WAY down... and my tires dont rub so much

Steam cleaned the interior today. I had the dog (horse) in the back, he left hair everywhere and slobber on my headrests and windows. =( lol But now it looks clean and smells good!

+1... when you have people in the back seat it's nice for them to have music too, and on long trips when you're taking a break at rotate drivers and you're stuck in the back, i'm sure you wouldn't mind have music in the back too.

What kind of dog do you have? Our Great Dane does the same thing...I've given up getting all the little dog hairs out!

I have a boxer/lab. He sheds too much hair lol it was like needle hair that pokes right into the fabric. It was a pain to get them out. That was the first time he has been in my car since we brought him home from the pet shop. Lol.

Then again car did need cleaning. It was a good cover up to rent a steam cleaner to detail the inside of the car lol

if people want to hear music in the back seat... just turn up the volume! rear speakers do nothing for you! i know, when i am watching a movie, i think... hmmm i should put most of my speakers behind me.

anyways, the people in the back seat of my car get a free massage, so they can just shut up then. and i never have people back there anyways. the 5 is for hauling people.

and what kind of shop would touch an aftermarket amp and wiring! kick those people in the taint!

my p5 has cancer! i remember seeing a post on fixing it in this exact spot. anyone know where it is or how to do it?

Took off the side moldings... Think anyone will want them? Red side moldings from a P5. How much do you think I could ask for them?

Next on the list: wash the car and then mount msp sub&amp. Then when it gets warmer debadge the hatch, then i think it's time to start the dreaded rust repair. I'll post pics of the rust later when i have the laptop with a card reader.

grind to bare metal, self etch prime, fill with body filler, sand smooth, prime, paint

yep, that's the plan. Only thing is that since it's coming from inside out it might be a bit tricky.. maybe?

also, it looks like it's going to be really bad at the side skirts because i can already see the rust peaking out from along the side skirts. (better explained with pics)

Inexpensive coaxials for rear door speakers are plenty. But you should really spend on some components for the front, trust me.

...I was more referring to the talk of custom enclosures in the rear of the car (not for subs). I do in fact have rear speakers in my p5 as well.

I am pleased to announce that I got my 3rd retrofit customer today. This is picking up quite quickly.
