What have you done to your P5 today?

....yaaaa....your not going to want to do that... the only one you can cut is the one thats all the way at the bottom i believe... the ones you circled are there to hold the spring compressed...i think slideshow cut the bc. purches..

You need to go to Lake Travis lots of beautiful winding mountain roads!! :)

been there and still nothing......

i come from wv....and the road i love is about 100 miles of 2 lane country winding road with a mountain on one side and 100+ foot drop off on the other, complete with switch backs....YUM

So...we messed up the timing when we put in the motor...a few more days now until I can get some help back...the car is almost back though...

Nice...only 7 more hours now until we start on the motor re-install...

happy to hear that....need another yeller representing......

so how many months has she been down

4 Months...

Flipped it in the middle of December...was in body shop for 2 1/2 months...got it back for a week and blew the motor...been getting parts, pulled it out and getting it back in since then...also ordered another motor in that time frame...

dear god, wasn't it totaled??

some one took off a rear corner right after i got mine and it was that.....

got pics??

Never did get any pics...I flipped it at night, it was gone at 6 that morning and taken apart at the body shop that day...

As for not being totalled, not really sure why it wasn't...I bought it with 45,000 less miles for $8,500 last January...lol...

thar she blows! we've struck oil!

nope, check the image below

Wow I hope not. The only way you should make large height adjustments on those coilovers is with the bottom bracket, that's why the entire body is threaded...if you make huge adjustments with the spring preload there is a good chance you will either bottom the shock out and blow it or over preload it and blow it.

Also I know lowering the car like a honda looks cool and all but unlike a honda protege's don't have double wishbone suspension so being that low the car is going to handle like s***.

Sweet, came out to find a nice scratch down the rear driver's side door. Stupid skateboarders went down the side of the building this AM
