What have you done to your P5 today?

Thank you sir. Now I just gotta figure how to wire em so they are red at night rather than amber/orange. lol

Also, was only a little under $150 for everything gauge related. $30 per gauge, $35 for oil sandwich plate, and $24 shipped for gauge pod.

sweet!!

if the MSP didnt have the pretty engine cover lol i'd paint it blue...i dunno, i just cant see painting the one on the P5 since nothing else is ever going to get done to it lol

looks good tho vel...

Gave her a good washin

Sorry about the bad phone pics, but the camera had gone MIA.

Also purchased: Mazda Tribute Nozzles
Mazda6 wiper assembly.
Caliper paint - red

Now I just need the time to do all that.

Nah.

I'm already a snow plow as it is. (Michigan had a winter this year)

It needs to be winter friendly.

Not to mention, there are some bad entrances that are already close to taking my bumper off.

Just not logistically possible.

But yours looks nice.

(can I buy your JDM tails?)

I'm fine here in Montreal, and the winters we have here are far, far worse than those in Michigan buddy.

Once you learn the technique of going at a angle over stuff. Scrape you will not

i'm still a padawan at this...

but the scraping is that splash shield always... no scratches on the bumper... can't wait to get that lip!! either MSP lip or the AutoExe/DG lip... cant decide!!

what are your thoughts on the lips available for P5s??

When I just lowered my car on teins, I would never scrap and didn't have to worry about anything and just drove regular.

i have to be careful now though since I have the DGM lip. When I measured it, It was like almost 4 inches off the ground lol. But, It really isn't to bad to maneuver around, just go at angles and you will be fine.

Lowered & scraping > stock ride height

Well, for the first time in the 116000 mile life of my protege5, she is running 5w20 Full Synthetic Mobil 1 Extended Performance oil and holy hell the engine is quieter and running smoother than EVER! I love it :) it drives much smoother, who knew there was such a difference between Castrol GTX (what ive always used) and Mobil 1 Full Synthetic...

I will be keeping my eyes on the oil to make sure it's not leaking or burning it since its an aged engine.

i recently switched to mobile1 also. they have an extended one that supposedly allows you to go 15000 miles or 1 full year, which ever comes first. i got the 10w30 only cause i didn't want build up of sludge after so many miles(dunno)

Just rec'd a box full of Total Synthetic oil and a new filter. My baby gets some new lube tonight

Just finished doing the headliner black...puting on new shift knob...installing new Infinity door speakers...and GT Spec front lower tie bar...also cleared up the headlights some more...have B&M short shifter arriving tommorow with autosport sunshade...and removed roof rack for trip on sunday...You can see the visors off in the last pic from when I had the headliner out, but for some reason I cannot get the pics of it to upload...
