What have you done to your P5 today?

No, bought it in the FS forum with some road rash on it, but it is not bent or anything, just not all cosmetically there...

I noticed that your heat shield is scratched as well, and also the area where the front motor mount attaches, so that is why I was wondering.

lol...I actually wasn't going too fast at all. Its just that the camera is about 3 1/2 inches off the ground, so everything seems like you are going much faster.

I believe this is why a lot of SUV's drive too fast because they are much higher off the ground. Giving them the illusion that they are driving regular, but are really driving faster than they realize. imo

Oh yea, Woolsey does make you woosey! hehe

That is from scraping...I was delivering pizzas on an unfamiliar road about two months ago, and it was very dark...as I went over a set of railroad tracks at about fifteen to twenty MPH, I slammed into the ground on the other side, cause it was a HUGE drop-off...I went back the next day and scraped going EXTREMELY slow...lets just say that I don't go that way anymore...I just figured you were asking about the bar though...

not really. The stock manifold is kinda junk, so it's better than nothing.

But yeah, other than that it's pointless :p

So, Wagner shorty header is good idea or no? I had the OBX but it didn't workout so well on the highway for the wife. After putting stock manifold back on, i REALLY regret selling the OBX.
Does the Wagner offer any bump at all? I've also got an Injen SRI, Magnaflow catback, and in the mail is an MP3 ECU

I have the wagner and I think its a good piece and gave respectable gains considering what it is. Just keep an eye on it. On some of the parts the welds weren't spectacular and they've been known to cause exhaust leaks. Plus keeping all the stock emissions equipment keeps my car legal and me in STS instead of FSP.

I don't have to worry about emissions, so, i'm contemplating gutting the precat, but i'm curious if that will make it as loud as it was witht he OBX

careful....theres rumblings that emissions testing could return to FL in 09....

Huh? Hmmmm...well, then maybe I'll just go with wagner and leave cat alone. I should be good to go IF emissions should come rear it's ugly head here

you can search for it on yahoo...nothink concrete yet but who knows w/ how everyone is going "green" now a days....

This is why i kept my stock midpipe for the MSP. Swap it on once a year :D

I am going forward with the wagner. I can't take the stock manifold! Wagner has to be better, even if by a little bit.

And, since the MP3 ECU will be here soon, i'd like to let the car exhale a little better.

You won't be disappointed especially if you're worried about noise. The wagner is no louder than stock.

I friggen loved the OBX, just didn't like the frequency of the drone at highway speeds. It wasn't too loud, just the tone it hit went straight through my wife's skull and kept punching her brain giving her a bad headache

So, Wagner will provide better breathing with not much noise? Good good

Maybe I'll try to find someone with a failed precat and punch it out and swap my good one in when emissions come around.

ANybody got a failed precat??

And Andrew, the one I am picking up already cracked but is being rewelded before I get it.

Is it just poor design that they crack? Or stress to it? I have an AWR front 70 installed and rear 70 waiting to be installed. I won't be putting hte header in till the rear mount is in, cause, well, i think my stock is shot and I don't want the header to take the hit
