did you atleast give your car a washing, i've never seen your car as dirty as it was the other day.
unfortunately no :( i really hope to get to it soon, but i may have to break down and see if i can get it professionally polished. i hate the thought of having someone else do the work (and paying them), but i just don't know if i have the energy right now to do it... and it needs to be done SO badly.

nice box... (sub box, not the other one... )

I saw this a while back, but I never got the answers I needed to see if I could do this..

Is that a 10" sub?
any idea what kind of volume you have in that enclosure?
If you don't mind, what did it run you $$?
yes it's a 10" JL. i couldn't tell you what the inside volume is, but there's more than enough room for the sub. for specifics, you'd have to pm Allen (mryellermp5) since he's the one who made it for me. i'd rather not say what the price was, but even with shipping (and let me tell you, that sub box was WELL protected; he is the MAN when it comes to properly shipping things) it was far cheaper than any quote i got here in town. I just crossed 29k this morning on my way to work.

That's awesome. One day I'll have a car with low enough mileage to say that.

Guess what I did to my P5 today? Sold it! Don't worry, it's going to a good home :)

The P5 is a great car... however, it's just not going to tow the boat I'm getting and I have no need to 2 cars... so it had to go. My replacement is a 2004 Subaru Forester XT, which I plan to build up some this summer. I will miss the driving style of the P5 (and the economy), but I'm already liking the power and 4wd of my FXT more :)

I'd hate to see a Sunlight Silver goto a bad owner...

Good luck with the Subie. It'll do you well I'm sure.

forgot to mention what i did yesterday - loaded her up! had to get a bunch of stuff from storage, i think about 20 boxes of varying sizes (didn't count). dad was in the front passenger seat, mom in the rear behind dad and the other half of the rear seat folded down for the boxes.

first two pic shows normal ride height; last two are from yesterday before we unloaded. (boom06)

sweet so i can lower my car by just loading it full of heavy s***!!!

redpr5, that really sucks. don't know what i'd do in your shoes. is it at least covered under some sort of warranty?

yeah, it was pretty low. i wasn't too sure about driving home with the car loaded like that - i'm already pretty damn close to the bottom of the strut (ie, the top of my tire). thank goodness i have fairly stiff springs and the msp racing harts, or i would have rubbed for sure. to be safe though, i drove slowly and had the hazards on. don't need to wreck any of my lovely summer tires.

Same here. On most model tires on a 17x7, it's a great looking / handling tire (short, but not too short sidewall, good contact patch, etc.)
