What have you done to your P5 today?

Today i removed the door moldings, blacked out the headlights, and put her sport 20 badging on.

Looks good, though I'm not a fan of red (the "Sport 20" on the side) with yellow. I wonder if you could get SpazChicken to make you a copy in black? I was thinking about asking him to do a set in blue for our Black P5, but my wife's not a big fan of that particular decal anyway, so probably not going to happen.

I like the red sport 20. to each there own though. The blackout only took a couple hours there is a how-to. I would be careful though the tabs on the part you paint broke on mine when I took it out. I must say I do not ever want to take door molding off again.

well i adjusted my exhaust as best i could, i only have one thing left to try before i replace the rear muffler hanger w/ the stock one. i have about 3-3.5 mm of clearance of the pipe and the chassis body above the crossmember. how much does it expand when hot? i'm hoping this will be enough :( anyone know about how much the pipe expands?

here is a picture, i dont know why it is so close :(

it would look better if u painted the mazda and flying m now, black of course :)

Took a cloth with light soap and wiped my engine bay clean!! Wish I had a camera to show you guys how tidy it is ;)

well no rattle/rub today since i adjusted the s pipe today (at least not that I can hear). monday i might adjust the midpipe to give it a little more just in case. i'm soooo happy. it's been like 3 weeks that i've had to deal w/ it. its a pain to sit at a light and sound like an old clunker. lol. and actually being able to rev the engine w/o it rubbing

I know the feeling. AZMC did a mountain run last weekend. The heat shield on my midpipe cat came loose on one side. So it was resting on the crossmember. It was making a horrible tinny rattle. Today My father - in - law welded it back on for me. Then I came home and my daughter and I detailed the car for my photoshoot tomorrow.

child labor ftw! haha jk...

I had just started buffing the hood when Lexi asked me if she could do it.

I showed her what to do and she buffed my entire hood while I did the roof by hand. That shine is all her doing and she is proud of it.

She is a little car nut already.

Way to get her hooked at a young age!

its gonna be close believe me, mine has practically no clearance, but is fine except when it rains, then it begins to vibrate, but only when it gets wet underneath. good luck.

someone on another forum was sayin it needs 20mm and i called the BS card. thats 2 cm, if there was that much room the s pipe would be on the ground. so far no vibes/rattle, i am gonna adjust the midpipe monday or tuesday hopefully to give it even more room. :)

installed my hood props and custom sub box today with my dad's help :) i am SO happy to have my hatch back. and yes, i know - tpiwwp; they shall be forthcoming, just have to download then upload them.

btw, anyone interested in a ported sub box for a 10" JL W1V2 sub? obviously, i no longer need mine :)
