What have you done to your P5 today?

Alright, day 3 (I think)... With much difficulty the oil feed and coolant lines are all together. It probably would have been a lot easier to just remove the IM but I've done that once and I really don't want to do it again (although I will have to when I eventually go with the PG IM). That took the majority of the night (I have the cuts on my hand to prove it). Another thing I noticed is that after connecting my MAM midpipe to the corksport downpipe I noticed that the midpipe is really close to the crossmember again. I'm probably going to have to take it off again and beat the hangers with a hammer but I might just put a washer or two under each bolt of the crossmember because I really don't want to have to take out the O2 sensor again. Aside from all that, the FMIC is all bolted up. I ended up drilling too new holes into the mount and through the bumper support as I thought the original wasn't very supportive and now I have too bolts w/nuts going through the FMIC mount and my bumper support - it's not going anywhere. Since it was going on midnight and I had to be at work by 7 AM I called it quits then. I still need to mount the fans before I do the FMIC piping and I need to figure out how to route all the lines and wires for my wideband and boost gauges. I also still need to get an oil return line but after all that then it's the intercooler piping and hopefully finish...

Ah, sorry for the long post

Magnum.. don't remember if I answered your post earlier, but yeah I got the donut gasket from corksport, it's one of the parts I bought new since no one on here was selling one at the time. I'm sure they'll sell it to you, just call them up.

oh um here's a vid I took today:

:) running off the wastegate at the time, so 7psi but it took a while for boost to build. I'll tune it soon

nice video chris!!

lol ok. well i just realized i have a decent sized bubble on the right fog light rockblocker...and i cant get it out so i think i am gona take a needle and poke a hole in it to get the air out. think that'd be ok? idk it wasnt there when i installed. its weird. i thought i got them all out. :-\

yeah that'll work. just make sure you make it a small hole.

alright, its done. now it just looks like a rock hit it and scuffed it up a little bit. so hey, if people tell me there is no point to the rockblocker, i'll point them to that and tell them a rock hit it...better the shield than my glass :-D

Mine has a bubble that came from nowhere, too. I need to do the same.

Spent all lunch break cleaning out the interior.

I bought some 194 LEDs to install in the instrument bezel...
I put them in, no workey!!! Reversed them to see if polarity was swiched, no such luck!

Where'd you buy them? that's weird that they aren't working. Even if they were working though, the lighting would be really uneven with them sadly.

A syringe works really well to suck the air out of a bubble in rockblocker.

never thought of that.
well the whole worked fine for me. :-\ i'm not a druggy so i dont have an syringes :-D j/p

Chris--They were some wide angled bulbs that I saw at Pep Boys (lame I know, but I needed paint!). Guess I'll just stick with the regular bulbs!

Bill--Thanks for the syringe suggestion.

^^^I second that Bill...great sig.

Simple commute to and from work today. Tomorrow.....
