What have you done to your MSP today?

I'll have pics for sure this weekend when she is running around the course. Hopefully some video too!

I just bought an impact wrench, battery, extensions and sockets. I'm going to tackle a few projects to revive my MSP which hasn't been running too well lately.
This weekend I'll be replacing the valve cover gasket, the oil pan gasket, EGR pipe, exhaust manifold gasket (actually, all the exhaust gaskets), spark plugs, PCV valve and some other minor issues. Then in a few weeks I'll move on to a new clutch, Fidanza flywheel, and new springs, struts and strut mounts. I'm pretty excited...

So I was taking s*** apart so I can find whats wrong with the car and when I removed the hot pipe near the intercooler I got over a quart of oil pouring out, definitely found out where the smoke came from and where the oil went... Theres no obvious damage to the turbo so that still doesn't explain why I have 0 compression on my cylinder 4.. Now I'm confused. At least I know the head gasket is good!

Pulled the motor out of the car today, swapping the head and everything to the other motor tomorrow and putting the car back together Thursday. That's if everything runs smoothly

0 compression on cyl 4 is a very seriuos problem. did u measure with a screw in fitting on ur comp gauge or just one of those wedge shaped rubber stopper ones?

It's a screw in and yes I know its very serious. I'm dismantling the engine right now to find the source of the problem.

oooooo post pictures when you find out what it is. i'm going to take a guess and say either cracked ringland or a hole in the piston.

If you've had anything come out of the engine like a piece of a piston ring or piece of a piston for that matter your turbo will not show immediate damage. You'll have to take the exhaust housing off and see if the turbine blades were hit.

Just got the 225 BFGoodrich R1-S tires back from the shop that were mounted to the 17x7.5 RPF1's :) Winning!
