What have you done to your MSP today?

COST OF LIVING IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE. I made 9$ in FL eating steak, 9.50$ in MA doesnt get as far.

LITERALLY true story man..... Like Ive said, Bottom of the rung, AND the "new guy" at that. lol It was my mistake, we were just busy, had 8 NEW rims, 4 bad ones. Just really didnt expect that shady reaction from the customer. It truly disappointed me. I was just naive to expect respectable honesty and logic from a person I dont know. But as you stated... IM NOT QUALIFIED AND THEY DONT PAY ME TO THINK lol YOUR THE BOSS.... lol And thats why I keep studying, reading, and wrenching. SOMEDAY...

I just wish, I had a filter from my brain to mouth sometimes. Im sure a lot of you will agree..... lol lmfao

Welcome to customer service. I'm 23 and have had nothing but bad customer service type jobs all of my short working career. My first job? Burger King. I was 15 and had no other choice except McDonald's sooooooo yea. Group of kids came in one day and threw a sub across the dining area, leaving lettuce all over the place. I didn't know them, didn't talk to them, and nobody did anything to upset them. But guess who was instructed to clean it up? The only thing good about jobs like that, is walking at the bell and not caring until they start paying you again. You will be fired real quick if you can't appease the customers.

rear main oil seal is fixed and repaired.. but guess what is now needing replaced.. and it was new ... :( the clutch pads are really worn down probably from the oil soaking into them.. also the fly wheel shows no hot spots.. it actually looks like i had just taken it to a machine shop and has someone resurface it... more stuff to buy :/

Spent the rest of the afternoon yesterday dialing in the coilovers. I like em about right in the middle between full soft, and full hard. Not too slidy (is that a word? lol), and not too bouncy.

cleaned out the engine bay (the best i could without wrenching)

and not really MSP related, but it's currently IN my MSP... but i decided i'm selling my Compaq Presario CQ62 laptop (250gb, 3gb RAM, windows 7, office 2012, adobe CS6)... gonna make a FS thread soon

Just remember the customer is always rite. I've seen people come in for an oil change and whoops there cel is on. "It wasn't when they came in" and the tech didn't note it. Guess who eats it because they don't wana destroy there reputation. It's the way of life in this industry. But how would you feel if you were having to pay the outrageous prices to have someone work on your car. I know my jobs flat rate is $125/hr. i would never bring my car there. lol

on another note here's the mid pipe i made myself.

IMAG0141.jpg

ON YOUR OTHER NOTE FIRST:: Thats a huge resonator. And nice welds (thumbsup) Im thinking of copying Mopar's idea and doing double resonated straight pipe like the SRT4's.

You are extremely correct my friend. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I didnt really think of the reputation aspect of it. Your definitely right, people come in with stripped/swollen studs all the time. Sometimes they snap and SHOP EATS IT. Even tho studs have 300K miles and been bolted and unbolted 10k times. Ive been fortunate enough to avoid those situations, apparently yesterday was my turn. I was disappointed in society/people AS USUAL!

I took electronics in high school, and worked warehouse/shop jobs after so Ive never really experienced "customer service". Sounds like were pretty much in the same boat tho. Youth = paying dues and learning. This really isnt that bad, atleast Im doing something I enjoy. Ive literally had jobs where Ive felt like someones toe fungus. Straight laboring. It is what it is... But hopefully you know how to bite your tongue better than I do. Its just not in my nature. Im honest to a fault and naively expect the same from other people lol That dude disappointed me.....

Thanks! That was with the crap welder to my dad had to take the good one. Its actually a test pipe I had on my old civic I cut up. Lol. I was gona use two resonator's but decided I wanted it a little louder

After 3 straight days of not wanting to start first thing in the morning I put a new battery in it. Thankfully the dying one had the 108 month pro rata warranty so I got $52 off of the new one. Got 5 years out of the stock battery and 4 years out of the 1st replacement.

Thats why yours isnt loud! I have a 3" dp 3" catless midpipe with a greddy sp2 catback and my exhaust isnt loud at all. Expect when i get on it.
depends on your opinion of loud also. I don't want it much louder than stock. My friends mp3 just has headers and welded on muffler and its so annoying to drive I can't stand it. Lol.

road noise is louder then my exhaust at cruising speeds. you can talk over it without a issue what so ever when cruising.

Ok thanks. I thought that was the case but just wanted to confirm. Advance auto's computer system doesnt list the A/C hoses for the Mazdaspeed.

Found the leak in the hose where the hose is crimped. Time to replace it and get AC back again.

They're the same one. They're like $40.

Im at work so sorry for asking here. Can anyone show me the dump valve on the GT25 exhaust housing. I know FORGE WGA suck but i tested it and its OK, but boost is way too inconsistent. Somedays 6psi others 15psi. Mine has a bend I think PO bent it. Is it supposed to be an L.

It's where mine have leaked all 3 times.

My boost spiked to 16psi this weekend............. :|

(werd) wish I would have noticed that when I was fixing the hole in the low pressure side...would have saved me the time and $ of having to have the system vacuumed and refilled a second time.

It's where mine have leaked all 3 times.
