it had to come off to get the cluster out... didn't get it properly fastened back down yet...
Edit: Fixed.
btw, thanks a ******* bunch to whatever idiot wrapped the alarm LED around the harness enough times so that it ha NO slack whatsoever.

mine has velcro under it to stabilize it... but yes, it basically just sits.

no, you gotta go under the dash, disconnect it, and then (i dunno if everyones is like this) unwind it from around a harness. comes out with the bezel.

I put 2 lower control arms on the msp today. now the damn noise over bumps/dips/road changes.. is all gone!

You know you're gonna wanna keep it once you put all this work into. The first week I had mine I got a CEL and the Mazda dealership basically told me I was gonna have to replace my entire turbo. Turns out my WGA diaphragm was torn, replaced that. Figured out what my CEL is REALLY being caused by, and it's still there (cause I'm too damn lazy to fix it). The Moral? After week one of owning it, I wanted to drive it through Heritage VW's (in Douglasville GA) front window. I was hoping to take out the guy who sold it to me too. After owning it for little over 2 years, I am so glad I still have it.
Sidenote. If you live in GA... do not, under any circumstances, purchase a vehicle from the Heritage Motor Group. They are cowardly assholes who's main objective is to sell you a vehicle and then throw customer service of the ******* radar.

On a side note, I got into my first car accident this weekend.
Thankfully NOT the MSP, but it was my girl's '06 G35 coupe. Cop said it was my fault, but I got pics and the full story to go into another post soon. The short of it was I was trying to pull through a gap in traffic to get into the center "Turn both ways" lane to merge into traffic. Cars had stopped short of the drive to let me through and I had started to inch my way forward. Some asshat in a Charger came barreling down the center lane to skip the traffic and make it to the light, 200+ yards further down the road, and clipped the nose of the G35. Cop said I was at fault for "not yielding to traffic," but the way I look at it, the other guy was illegally using the center lane. Insurance is covering it, but I'm gonna be nice and pay the deductible... Very lame though
