What have you done to your MSP today?

ordered a steedspeed exhuast mani for it today!

now i just have to:

install the mani
install the rear motor mount
figure out what that damned rattle coming from the bottom of the car is
replace/fix my front passenger side brakes
figure out how to avoid the leak on the bottom of my coolant catch tank

and i'll be happy!

haha, and by the time you get halfway down that list 3 more things will have been added to the bottom! oh the MSP, which by the way I finally got running today after a 2 1/2 week hardpark, minus its seeing a tow truck for the third time in the year I have owned it! Rather then get fully into it, after weeks of fuel related and no-start issues, we traced the problem back to one of the tiny little female prongs located in one of the two connector plugs that go to the fuel pump.
 
I cannot believe the difference a properly running radiator can do. I cannot believe what heat does to an engines power. My fan only turns on when sitting still at a light instead of running while im driving like it was before the new radiator, i have better response and my power is back, I dont smell burning all the time, and the car sounds better
 
^ i think that might be next on my list, as my radiator currently has two holes held with epoxy, eesh...

i was looking at all of corksports stuff.. and if it says corksport on it it's remotely cheap.. i'm gonna get 2 of their radiators i think... 299 each plus shipping!! cheap!
 
Installed my totally JDM Air Spencer tonight. I love me some Squash scented Air Spencer.
 
Filled it up with gas and drove it hard for a few miles... but I did received my Medieval Motorsports from MM to install on my next few days off. Thats if I can get around to it.


Edit: About 4 or so days ago i put my stock rear motor mount back in to get rid of most of the extra noise common with solid mounts... I think my car shakes more at times and then at times its hardly noticeable. This might be due to a dirty or sticky EGR with 76k on it I think.

From what ive been told, when the coolant gets to a certain temp the ECU will pull timing to prevent detonation. Its very important to keep it cool.
 
thats what I was planning on doing... especially since im borin the motor 20 thousands, plus ALOT of other stuff... I probably dont need it but I'm dont want that empty space wher this SMIC came out of...
 
I just noticed one of my APR exhaust manifold studs backed its way out. Sweet. Hopefully APR sells them individually. I can't buy another set at 110 bucks.

Plus, youd have this nice 3" thick aluminum rad, and the stock plastic, boost robbing SMIC attached to it cause theres no bracket to hold just the shortened rad. Bogus! :)

yeah Id powder coat the top on it tho, just like I'm doing to the FMIC Pipes and Core (whenever I get them...) I am goin with an all black and CF look under the hood... but I wannt get this 3" DP made first...
