What have you done to your MSP today?

i have proof that it would take a lot of water to suck up into the CAI to really screw up your engine. i went without a front bumper for over a week, with my CAI just chillin out in the open, through pouring rain, puddles, and i think even a little bit of snow. not a single problem.

Damn! and here I am, ******* popping my hood every time I wanna wash the car to cover the filter in a towel to keep it 100% dry. I feel a fool now. (nuts)

yeah i know it takes alot, like almost being fully submerged for any period of time long enough to make it all the way into the engine to cause dammage but i just wanted to mininize the risk and get some peice of mind

small amounts of moisture cool combustion temps as well so it doesnt hurt to take on a little bit of water (dropplets, not gallons) haha

oh no no no no no....true you wont hydrolock it but even a little bit in there ***** with your maf and makes your car run like s***, or not at all...trust me on this one...lol my filter is beside my tranny a little over a foot off the ground and though some rain i sucked up enough that i had to take and clean all the piping from my fmic...ran fine after that though

I don't feel comfortable buying Rotas off of ebay. Do you think its safe?

make sure its not a first time seller or a seller who hasnt been on ebay for awhile. Make sure their rating is high and that they have sold a ton of wheels and you will be fine. Just watch out for shipping charges.

I just looked on ebay, they only have 16" 4x100, exactly what I got right now, I'm looking for 17" 5x114.3 :(

I might end up buying some other color and getting them PCd

yes.. the MSP has larger brakes then the orig pro. It has 6 brakes on it. I got the rear pads for a 6 for mine.

Edit: mazda isnt going to design a hole new brake system for 1 year for a car so they share parts across platforms.
anybody else have brake pads that extend beyond the rear rotors? my rotor edge is beveling due to the pad being larger. I'm wondering if some moron put the wrong rotors on my car....
