What have you done to your MSP today?

Installed slotted drilled rotors front and rear with Axxis Ultimate Pads a few days ago. I'm very pleased much better bite than my EBC greens. Also swapped out the old brake fluid for Motul.

well i can't remember if i posted this already or not. i've got some sad news to tell you guys and gals. it has come to my attention that i probably no longer have the lowest mileage msp. we took off my valve cover the other day when we were looking for my stalling issue. there's some strange writing on the motor. all i remember it said was "T.O." ...my friend (aka my tech) decided to be a smartass and said it stood for totally obliterated. once he stopped laughing he said that it looks like junkyard writing.

so the point of the story is, my car no longer has any perks left :'(

lowest mileage (doubtful)
no paintwork (so much for that)
no previous mods (after further inspection it's obvious there was)

everytime i look at my msp now i die a little inside knowing just how abused it has been.

with the number of issues you were having I was beginning to wonder what the deal was. Have you run a carfax on it?

odometer says 15k. and i think since the digital ones came out you need some type of device to clock them.

from what I've read, all you'd have to do is swap out the board in the gauge cluster which holds that information.

i don't really care that much anymore to be honest. i've made a huge financial mistake by getting rid of my spec-v at the worst possible time because of the economy taking a s***. i lost a couple grand on it, and paid a couple grand too much for the msp.

my plans for the msp are just to replace all the POS damaged items i have with some nice aftermarket goodies and not really do anything fancy. then when my motor goes, which hopefully will be a couple years down the road, i'll get it forged and go crazy with it as my weekend ride.

If you work there they probably will. explain the situation, most dealerships subscribe to carfax i think so they can pull a carfax for a customer whenever it is asked for

try to get them to do it, if you do it one carfax report costs $30.00 They probably paid the $39.99 for unlimited reports

If I worked at a Honda dealership, and if I had any kind of stock in the company (ie manager, co-owner, etc.) everytime one of the lower totem pole workers came to my door, they'd have to knock and say "V-tak just kicked in sir." Then I'd reply, "You may enter."

About your car Ricktalife, sorry to hear about your woes. Look at the bright side, you paid a couple grand too much for a car with low miles. I paid a couple grand too much for a car with a s***-ton of miles. I gave up my reliable 2003 Taco for this MSP.

had the worst time working on my car last night.

i cut the bumper beam so i could move the intercooler up and forward so it is flush with the bumper. sounds easy right? wrong, everything that could have went wrong did. nothing fit back into place, so i had to rip the dam thing from its brackets and push it back just to get the bumper back on.

worked from 6 pm to 3 am. FML

second try at simply replacing the bushings on my front sway bar. still can't get one friggin' bolt loose! plus i smashed my thumb in the process. god d*$@# son of a b*#$% mother f%$*#!!! soaking the bolts in WD40 right now, gonna try again tomorrow.

yeah i cut my hands up pretty badly, got stabed with a piece of sharp metal on the bumper that i thought was loose, so i bent it back and it flung right into my palm.
