i have a friend with a 700whp civic hatch running Wiseco's but maybe ur right, they might not work as well for our Protege's
i looked at Wiseco's web site, i think they're pricing is pretty reasonable

i've heard of people blowing their engines up because the Wiseco Pistons don't really come in the advertised Compression, even the custom ones. so i just went with Aries custom 8.5:1 and lower the compression more with a thicker cometic head gasket to be able to boost even more.

well i know for a fact that cometic have 2 size thickness head gasket, i think the one tbk putted me where custom. if not mistaken the thickest cometic sales was 90mm or something like that and oem spec are 60mm. but the one tbk orderer or putted were a little thicker than 90mm.

.030 is stock and the thickest cometic makes for our cars is .051. got that straight off of crossovers website

and i wasn't going that fast.. i couldn't as i was on my summer tires..
i didn't even slow down when i saw him as didin't thought i was going fast..
way to start summer.. which is still a long way to go LOL
edit: the cop looked at the car and said " is that exaust sotck and legal"
i was like uum, yeah... look at he back it,s got the MAZDASPEED logo on it..
he said.. oh, ok..
catless DOES make a noise diffrence..

dude, i was like 5 over what people normally drive there.. their very forgiving..
if i had had a ford tempo and going 70 they would have let it go..
just because it's bright yellow with a wing they stop it..

lol sorry, forgiving or not, 20 over is still 20 over...
Both of my last tickets were 20 over, 55 in a 35 and 85 in a 65.
The funny part is, when I got pulled over for 85 in a 65 they didnt do s*** to the guy literally riding my ass in this early model ford tarus. I figured it was my car with a wing and loud exhaust. Especially this is an area where its 97 percent domestics (about 5 miles from the GM plant).

listen, i don't like cops either, i despise them but if i speed then it's my fault but getting a ticket for loud music and having the car searched in mid traffic downtown or getting a tint ticket while my car is clearly over-heating next to the road is really ****** ridiculous

My buddy has an evo... we were jsut cruzing around. he has a pretty loud exhaust. we pass the state police baracks no lie he put the clutch in to coast by so his exhuast was a minium and a cop whipped out and pulled him over for loud exhaust. lol. I had a mustang at the time with pretty much straight pipes and drove around normal with out one issue. I'm pretty gaurenteeing a tickect once my speed is on the road.
